The extremes of existence and non-existence, being apart from both and neither, existing in self-nature and free from the desires of others, are not even established in mere words. Therefore, being free from extremes, there is no desire; being completely perfect, there is no falling into any side. This is established by the reasoning of whatever arises without dependence, because without dependence, there is no wavering anywhere; it does not obstruct anything, and because anything arises as the nature of reality, there is nothing to be proven, so it is reasonable to be free from extremes and completely perfect. The key instruction is that there is no affirmation or negation for anything, as it is often explained as 'Bha'. Thus, by eliminating faults with scripture, reason, and key instructions, one has confidence in one's own intention, and accomplishing the four commitments is: knowing one liberates all, which is accomplished by knowing everything in the single nature of reality. Thus, for one's own extreme of accomplishment, one avoids contradiction with reality, contradiction with lineage, and contradiction eliminated by one's own words. Thus, having abandoned the three faults of contradiction, one eliminates doubts about the meaning of self-nature. That is, the meaning of Great Perfection is proven by the logic of knowing one liberates all: wherever one knows one, one knows it as the nature of reality. All phenomena encompassed by appearance and sound are liberated. Why are they liberated? Because they are known as the nature of reality. How is it known? Because the way things exist has no acceptance or rejection. Therefore, for all the reasons of the knowable abiding in its own place, one must destroy and accept one's own commitment. The fortress of abiding is the three-tiered castle: with 'also is' one eliminates the extreme of thinking there is contradiction, with 'beginning' one eliminates the extreme of existence and non-existence, and with non-dependence one eliminates the extreme of is and is not. Thus, escaping to the corner with reason is eliminating the key point with intelligence. The four directions are the four reasons, the four commitments, and the four intelligences. In the center, drawing the wheel of samsara and nirvana on the three fortresses with the four is calculating the changes of one's own and others' intentions. Lying on the side refers to those who, from the eternalist and nihilist heretics down to the Mind-Only school, assert that things are real, therefore, for the body burned to ashes, nothing can establish benefit or harm. From the Madhyamaka to the outer and inner tantras, they speak of emptiness, even these cannot establish benefit or harm to the body burned to ashes. For what reason? Because clinging to things as self-existent causes wandering in the three realms, and because blocking the extreme of emptiness causes bondage in the formless realm.

Because there is nothing apart from this. Also, because of being manifestly attached to the meaning to be proven, one is bound in the three realms. Also, because the nature of those who speak of entities, the self-illuminating, causeless nature, is not realized. Because of being too extreme towards others. Because the Mind-Only school considers the experience of one's own awareness as the ultimate truth. And because the non-Buddhists consider the nature of permanence and annihilation as the ultimate truth. And because the Hearers and Solitary Realizers consider the Dharma and the individual as the ultimate truth. Because it is necessary to enter into emptiness with certainty in the Perfections and the outer and inner Mantras. Then, why is it not established? If it is said that apart from the Mind-Only school, there is no external object, and only the experience of one's own awareness is true, then the vow cannot be established. Is the experience of one's own awareness experienced after arising, or experienced without arising? If it is experienced after arising, then does it arise in permanence or impermanence? If the former, then awareness is permanent, and the former (awareness) and the latter (experience) are contradictory. If it arises in impermanence, then there is no need, because the cause, which is permanent awareness, has no need for the arising of impermanent experience. If that experience of one's own awareness arises from itself, then it will continue endlessly. If it arises from another, then the fault of water arising from fire cannot be avoided. Similarly, the distinction between conventional truth and ultimate truth in Madhyamaka is unreasonable. The distinctions within conventional truth are wrong. And the correct ones, etc., are also unreasonable because the sound is weak, so they should be examined in their respective contexts. Similarly, for ultimate truth, having names and not having names, etc., are also unreasonable. Furthermore, the appearance of the Svatantrika-Madhyamaka school, as a subject of debate, the vow and what is to be proven are not established. Because appearance is posited as a subject of debate, the nature of reality does not arise. Secondly, it cannot be established through reasoning either, because it is not established in one knowable object, and many cannot be established either. Because abandoning one, many cannot be established. Thirdly, the example also cannot be established. In this way, there is no difference between the non-Buddhists and the entity-ists, so in the complete, all-encompassing Great Perfection, these are impossible. In this way, for both oneself and others, the vow, what is to be proven, and the three reasons are surrounded by the throwing of words. When one is about to prove oneself, one becomes skilled in this, flees to the fortress of the nature of reality, and also applies it to all appearances and attachments. Therefore, oneself and others
