Third Chapter: Explaining the need to generate faith in this tantra and giving advice, now explaining the fourth content, which is the need for the water element and how it arises: "Ehe, ehe, hold with the one who makes joyful!" and so on to explain. Ehe, ehe, is calling the gatherer with the meaning of self-nature, advising the one who makes joyful, that is, the son of the gods, to hold! At the beginning of this chapter, seventy important questions were raised. If these words are clearly separated, then this need for the element also arises from the sound of the all-pervading five-crested one. Because nothing can change the basis, it arises naturally from the loud sound, from which such verbal transformations arise. That is, in the sky that is naturally pure and has not been modified by anyone, these words that have not been written as letters appear naturally without fabrication, appearing to the beings to be tamed in the form of questions and answers. This is not a sudden occurrence either, because it is established on the basis of the actual reality of things. Therefore, all words appear in this way as the basis of the elements in front of sentient beings. The needs of the elements of earth, water, fire, and wind are as follows: The water element can gather all the essence of the outside and the body. By becoming accustomed to this, one can achieve longevity and merit, and become like the body at the age of sixteen. It performs the function of distinguishing external silver and internal excrement and the dregs of water, etc. If one is constantly combined with this, one can absorb the essence. That is, making the three bodies of water compatible with their respective bodies. That is, due to need, the changes arising from the essence will become the hot element. From the change in the position of the dregs, recognizing coldness, this is when explaining the practice of wind. The above explained the fourth content, which is the need for the water element and how it arises. Now explaining the fifth content, which is the need for the earth element: The earth element can support the basis of the yogi's body and perform the functions of forming the body that is formed in the inner body, etc. When the body is produced, through its maturation, the three channels of the body, etc., are produced, and the karma depending on the channels matures, thereby producing a special dharma nature. The types of its channels

For quiescence, it is necessary to grasp, contract, mix, and stir the bindu of mundane bodhicitta, and to determine the location of the channels, thereby understanding the growth of the body's elements. This is the fifth teaching on the necessity of the earth element. Now, the sixth teaching is on the necessity of the fire element: fire promotes the growth of all the body's elements, matures the senses and limbs, and performs the functions of clarifying knowledge. From this, the wind of wisdom blazes and spreads, starting from the eyes, enhancing the radiance and luster of all the senses. By combining it with the inner fire, the necessity arises from the soles of the feet, where forms of heat and the shape of a horse's tail are generated, thereby bringing auspiciousness in the yoga of clothing. This is the sixth teaching on the necessity of the fire element. Now, the seventh is on the necessity of the wind element: wind empties the body's proximate causes, enjoys the fruit of emptiness, lifts the lamps of wisdom, and performs the functions of moving the body and shaking the limbs. By mastering this, great swiftness of foot is achieved. When abiding in this, the body's muscles tremble and the channels throb, the yogi's body is regarded as wisdom. Its necessity lies in knowing the state of one's own mind, thereby generating moderate wind. This is the seventh teaching on the necessity of the wind element. Now, the eighth is the teaching on understanding and valuing the changes of the four elements: if the water element is taken as a path, one can control it and gain control over life. If the earth element is taken as a path, weapons cannot penetrate, and it is supreme. Fire clarifies knowledge and possesses clairvoyance and supremacy. If the wind element is taken as a path, one can control it and make the sky completely pure. Thus, when the four are gathered under one's own control, one can manifest the vast and empty mandala-like appearance. The four elements are initially the cause of the formation of the body and other things. Since the body is made of elements, taking the elements as a path is the key to quickly obtaining results. In the middle, the body exists and is sustained by the earth element. Therefore, if rituals of nourishing the elements are performed, the body will be free from illness and there will be no obstacles. Finally, the destruction of the body is also caused by the elements. Therefore, if actions of swelling and expanding the elements are performed, one can have a long life and
