If you do not understand the key points of the body, you cannot unleash the power of the four elements; if you do not understand the key points of speech, diseases related to bones and veins cannot be expelled; if you do not understand the key points of the mind, you cannot prevent the loss of essence. Therefore, if you possess these three essential instructions, you will surely be able to expel diseases of the body and mind. The yogi's body can perform various postures of the 'thrul khor' (magical wheel). If it is a fire body, the lower part should be like a wheel of fire with crossed hands and feet; the intestines in the lower part should be pulled upwards; the middle part should be like a worm crawling; the limbs should be like a strong throwing posture. The speech should also sequentially make sounds like 'ka ka,' 'nya ha,' 'ha li hu li,' and 'nga ngi ngu.' For diseases of the senses, perform the posture of shaking an iron staff and make sounds like 'ha ha he he.' Use these to counter the mind's attachments. If it is a water body, when still, the body should be as majestic as a lion; make sounds of various ghosts; the middle part should be like a fox walking stealthily; make a 'eek' sound from the top of the head; the lower part should be like a peacock shaking its body; make the sound of Brahma, the limbs should be like a man stretching his body; make the sound of the sky soaring; for the senses, the body should be like an eagle retracting its wings; make sounds like 'eh ting eh ting;' all methods of countering mental illnesses are the same. If it is earth, when still, concentrate the power on the left and right sides; make sounds like 'ah a ee;' the lower part should push the intestines to the back; make the roar of a lion; the middle part should be like shaking a hundred knots; make the sound of a weasel crying; the limbs should make stretching and contracting movements; make the buzzing sound of a bee; for the senses, make the changing posture of a tigress; make the trembling sound of the proud god; the mind is the same as above. Especially, concentrate the power on the element that matches your own body. If it is wind, the lower part should be like Palden Lhamo (Glorious Goddess) wielding a spear; make the angry sound of a Rakshasa (demoness); the lower part should be like a seductive woman walking stealthily; the middle part should be like a wheel turning; make the joyful sound of a Dakini (sky dancer); the limbs should make hand gestures (mudras); make the majestic sound of a wrathful deity; for the senses, the body should be like a lion shaking its body; make the buzzing sound of a bee. This is to transform the mind's attachment to illness. Most importantly, concentrate the power on the center of each element. The rest can be understood from the scriptures. The above explained how to rely on the key points of body and speech to dispel diseases; now, the third part, concerning the various elements

The determination of time, and the explanation of the method of liberation from others' illnesses based on dependent origination: The number of each year, and the degree of liberation, such as the trembling of silver, the bristling of hair, and heartache, etc., are signs of liberation. In terms of the number of years, the certainty of the body, the boundary of liberation such as the trembling of the body, etc., is: The phenomenon of slurred speech occurs, and if the strength gradually increases, it is the boundary of liberation. Therefore, it is necessary to clearly understand one's own year, month, and time in order to understand the time of the disease's invasion, thereby understanding the key to dispelling the disease. If the pain occurs, and the date of the pain's cessation is different from one's own time, then use the syllable "wa" to transform it. If the month and year are inconsistent, then use the disease to dispel it. If the year and time are inconsistent, rely on dependent origination. If the month and time are inconsistent, then the mind's focus is paramount. If all of these are consistent, and the disease invades, know that it is difficult to dispel. By understanding correctly and without error in this way, one can be liberated from whatever disease one suffers from. If one is dispelling disease for others, one should rely on the expedient method of dependent origination. That is, earth body, earth, and so on. By not confusing time and dependent origination in this way, all the benefits of oneself and others will be accomplished. This is the answer to the forty-third question, relying on the special diseases and evil spirits of body and mind, through the obstacles of yoga, the explanation of attaining near quiescence, explained in three branches. Now is the answer to the forty-fourth question of the first chapter, in order to explain the necessity of understanding the various states of the body, it is necessary to explain the ultimate purpose of accomplishing the Dharma, the first branch explained through two branches: Explaining the necessity of entering the worldly path: The so-called "accomplishment" is the necessity of having faith in the purpose to be accomplished; the view of "ultimate" is the ultimate necessity of words; and the ultimate necessity arising from the meaning of practice. By relying on these two aspects, there is the necessity of going to the state of Buddhahood. In the present case, what is destroyed is the body, what is relied upon is the mind, the necessity of these two entering the path, and the secret is referring to the faculties and spoken, that is, the mundane and supramundane vehicles, etc. Among them, "vow" is the oral instruction that enters the essential point; "meaning" is the Dharma nature arising manifestly in the individual's continuum; with such a meaning, one will not regress in the three realms. It is precisely because of this intention that one will not regress in the three realms, therefore Buddhahood is certain.
