In all of those activities, It is said that empowerment should be given first. The companion of the reciter, Should be one who observes fasting and receives empowerment. Or else, one's own guru, Should be highly skilled in the scriptures. Endowed with qualities and capable of enduring hardship, Let a wise person undertake this task. First, in order to dispel obstacles, The empowerment should be well applied. In the middle, by the intermediate ones, Finally, one should recite oneself. Reciting mustard seeds and, Ghee, fragrances, and incense, etc., Threads, bracelets, and garments as well, Here, all should be worn. Having completed the empowerment, oneself, Having performed the peaceful fire offering, Without doubt, according to the ritual, Again, request them to depart. Again, in a level and good place, On a square platform of two cubits, Covered with a single color, Or carefully draw it smaller. The three mudras in their respective directions, Similarly, to the west, three-pronged spears. In the center of that, the vase, For the sake of empowerment, do as before. Even with this concise ritual, One will become empowered oneself. Having done so, there will be no obstacles, This is the great secret of recitation. The deities will bestow blessings, And obstacles will be completely pacified. Life and merit will manifestly increase, And sins will be thoroughly purified. Therefore, one who knows the method of recitation, Having learned the detailed ritual, For the sake of accomplishment, the empowerment, This secret should be universally applied. The sequential arrangement of the empowerment ritual is complete. Then, furthermore, by those who practice mantras, Every day, also in the three times, Begin the fire offering activity that is in accordance with the mantra. According to the ritual, with black sesame seeds and, Yogurt, honey, mixed with ghee, Or perform the fire offering with Lapan. For twenty-one days, Or seven days, or one month, In order to make the secret mantra's accomplishment correspond, It is shown to perform this ritual. To that, offer incense and scatter torma, Recite in mind and observe, With the hand holding the incense burner, Recite the secret mantra and distribute.

With this ritual, for the substances, always bless them. All the activities to be practiced, after completely grasping them, with this secretly revealed ritual, bless all the substances. Always at times and junctures, bless in this way, then later in one night, begin to practice well. The ritual of blessing substances is clearly divided. Then, at other times when good times and virtues are seen, for the sake of practice, the wise should begin as in the ritual. Winter month small, autumn month middle, spring month first and middle, summer month first and full moon, begin great practice. Summer month first month always falls, spring month middle month wind wheel turns, spring month first month various obstacles, winter month first month no obstacles. Autumn month middle month lightning flashes, great sounds will also arise, obstacles are signs of accomplishment, thus one should observe. In these five months, the best accomplishments can be achieved, peaceful activities also in this, begin to practice well. 一切作为吉祥。 若具足日期星宿， 须知成为殊胜。 于普通者则特别地， 星宿吉日在一切时吉祥。 与曜星稍作合和， 于猛烈之事业。 或依自之仪轨所说， 或诸神所劝请亦可。 于神变之半月， 一切事业皆极吉祥。 或赐予教敕之日期， 或十三日亦可。 寂静多半于秋季， 如是增盛于冬季， 春末如猛烈仪轨， 成办诸事极吉祥。 春初一切事业皆可作， 夏季之时作诸事业， 秋、冬与春末， 为中、上与下品。 分为三者之上复， 说当分为三三。 三时之成就亦， 多半说为三种。 初为傍晚之时， 中品为午夜之时， 殊胜之时为清晨， 于彼成就次第生。 寂静与猛烈增盛之， 时亦宣说即彼等。 下品中品与殊胜， 彼等仪轨之次第。 殊胜中品与下品， 诸成就之征相上， 如次第所见一般， 当知三种差别。 日月为曜所食时， 任何时皆无定准。 尤以猛烈行事业， 曜所食时作之甚佳。 从殊胜等之差别， 三日或二日， 或又一日亦可， 说当禁食最为殊胜。 是为次第分判成办之时。 复次从其他分别， 如所说之仪轨而行。 以有过劳之过失故， 禁食则不吉祥。 于彼期间成办者， 当勤于念诵与供养， 火供仪轨赞颂及， 诸善行。 以百次显扬赞叹之， 女童所绕之丝线， 多股缠绕并以香熏， 于遗落七结之上， 成办者以是秘密咒， 念诵百零八次后， 若于傍晚系于足上， 则成遮止争讼。

In places such as mountains, It is proclaimed that great accomplishments are attained. In places such as lakes, medium accomplishments are attained, In other places, minor accomplishments are attained. After being in accordance with the mantra, Commence activities by reciting. If one practices elsewhere, Accomplishment will not be quickly attained. All stupas containing relics, Accomplish the secret mantras of all Sugatas. The great and delightful stupa, The great enlightenment, the place of accomplishment, Likewise, the eight places such as Lumbini, There, there are no obstacles. All the rituals of activities, And those that are in accordance are also there. There, demons cannot cause obstacles, Never are they able to. Therefore, all secret mantras, It is said that they will definitely be accomplished there. Here, the activities of fierce conduct, It is auspicious to perform in places such as cemeteries. Or solitary trees, Or empty houses, the same signs are also acceptable. On all the banks of flowing rivers, If one practices Vidyā-mantras, it is said that they will be accomplished.
