Now manifest! From the supreme teacher, adorned with jewels, moon, and lotus, from all the Buddhas of the ten directions, such as the wise King of Glorious Sound, may we receive the true teachings, delight their hearts, and enter all Buddha-fields without obstruction, moment by moment. I prostrate to, offer to, and take refuge in the Bhagavan, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, Golden Excellent, Stainless, Jewel-Light, Accomplished Ascetic. Recite seven times. At this time, offer whatever offerings are available. Now, before the assembly of victorious ones and their retinues, by remembering the name of the Tathagata Golden Excellent, Stainless, Jewel-Light, Accomplished Ascetic, reciting it seven times, and through the power of prostrations and offerings, may we and all sentient beings, in accordance with the special aspirations of the Tathagata Golden Excellent, Stainless, Jewel-Light, Accomplished Ascetic, all those sentient beings who commit killing, perform various non-virtuous deeds, and due to killing various living beings, have short lives and many illnesses, or die from water, poison, weapons, fire, and various diseases, may all those karmic obscurations be completely purified, may they have long lives, may they be free from illness, and may no one die untimely. May we and all sentient beings who have committed various sinful and non-virtuous deeds, stealing and robbing others' possessions, causing them to be born poor, naked, and tormented by hunger and thirst, experiencing suffering, may all those sins be immediately purified, and until the ultimate attainment of enlightenment, may they obtain perfect and abundant wealth, without any lack. May we and all sentient beings who harbor harmful and jealous thoughts towards each other, killing and fighting each other, until enlightenment in unsurpassed bodhi, may they abide in love towards each other like parents. Immediately upon birth, may I realize all the collections of qualities, such as dharanis and samadhis. From the unsurpassed teacher, the Tathagata Golden Excellent Stainless Jewel Light, who has accomplished asceticism, and all the Buddhas of the ten directions, may I receive the correct teachings, delighting their hearts, and may I enter all Buddha-fields without obstruction in every instant. I prostrate, offer, and take refuge in the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyak-sambuddha, the Supreme and Auspicious One Free from Sorrow! Recite seven times. At this time, offer whatever offerings are available. Now, in the presence of the assembly of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, remembering the name of the Tathagata Ashoka Excellent Auspicious, reciting it seven times, and through the power of prostrations and offerings, may all the sorrows, sufferings, displeasure, great disturbances, and various sufferings experienced by sentient beings, in accordance with the special aspirations of the Tathagata Ashoka Excellent Auspicious, be completely pacified. May no one experience the suffering of separation from loved ones, and may they have long lives. May all sentient beings who have committed various sins and non-virtuous deeds, and who will be born or have been born in the great hell of uninterrupted suffering, a place of great darkness and gloom, be touched and seen by the light of the Tathagata Ashoka Excellent Auspicious, so that all their sins are purified immediately, and they are completely liberated from the suffering of hell beings. May all experiences of suffering be completely cut off. Until reaching the essence of enlightenment, may they experience the bliss of gods and humans. May those born in poverty, lacking clothes, food, drink, bedding, and ornaments, experiencing the suffering of cold and heat, with bodies emaciated and faces haggard from hunger and thirst, until attaining the ultimate Bodhi, share in clothes, food, drink, and all bedding. May their bodies be adorned with the complexion of celestial beings. May we and all other sentient beings who are tormented and deprived of radiance by yakshas, rakshasas, spirits, and flesh-eaters, experiencing various sufferings of disease, until attaining the ultimate Bodhi, may all torment and deprivation of radiance by yakshas, rakshasas, spirits, and flesh-eaters be completely pacified, and may they abide in loving-kindness. May they be completely liberated from the various sufferings of disease. After passing away from here, in the Buddha-field of the Tathagata Sorrowless Supreme Glory Buddha, may they be miraculously born on a lotus heart seat, a lion throne, and immediately upon birth, may all the collections of qualities such as dharanis and samadhis manifest, and from the unsurpassed teacher, Sorrowless Supreme Glory, and all the Buddhas of the ten directions, may they perfectly receive teachings, delighting their hearts, and may they enter all Buddha-fields without obstruction in an instant. I prostrate to the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha Dharma-proclaiming Ocean Sound Buddha. I offer and take refuge. Repeat this seven times. At this time, offer the offerings. Today, in the presence of the assembly of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, having heard the name of the Tathagata Dharma-proclaiming Ocean Sound, remembering it in our minds, and reciting it seven times, through the power of prostrations and offerings, may the Tathagata Dharma-proclaiming Ocean Sound, in accordance with his past special vows, cause us and other sentient beings, those born in families with wrong views, who do not believe in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, and are far from generating the mind of Bodhi, may their karmic obscurations be exhausted, and until attaining the ultimate Bodhi, may they become possessors of right view. I take refuge in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha.
