Dressed in a black silk robe and adorned with Vairochana Buddha on the head, the great general slays enemies, destroys gods and demons, and is surrounded by a host of spirits who subdue minor evils. Above, the tutelary deity Trugpü Chen, residing on a garuda, is blue, holding a sword in the right hand and a jewel in the left. Dressed in a black silk robe, he destroys and repels malevolent spirits and epidemics. Surrounded by the retinue of the eight great planets, he dispatches the eight classes of gods and demons as messengers. In the right hand, he holds a copper knife that radiates a mass of flames, and in the left hand, he holds a fresh head. Covered in a cloak of darkness, poisonous vapors emanate from his mouth. One eye sees everything, one hand grabs, one tooth devours, one leg runs, nine mouths make a clamor, nine ears listen, nine heads liberate the dead into the charnel ground, and nine hands are the masters of karma. These great rakshasas hold a black lasso marked with a three-pronged black vajra in their right hands, and in their left hands, they hold a fresh head and the garment of a dark cloak.
