A suffering like wandering in the land of Rakshasas! When༴ From the equanimity of not having obtained any results of good or evil! A moment like a seedling with burnt seeds! When༴ In this life, accumulating sinful deeds meaninglessly, slandering the Dharma! The refuge at the time of death is only the Dharma, so think about it! For example, a bird flying in the sky, its shadow chased by a dog! When༴ In this life, holding onto the body as permanent and cherishing it! When impermanence manifests, abandoning it, the mind runs naked! Helpless and without support, Like bird feathers scattered by the wind! When༴ In this life, with deceit and distraction, viewing virtuous deeds perversely! The result in the next life is like being bound by the saliva of a worm! When will the boundary between this impermanent death and the next life surely come! In this life, despising secret mantras, slandering virtuous deeds! When impermanence arises, thinking of receiving the four empowerments! Even if the iron hook of compassion is swift, it cannot grasp! For example, a seamless stone in the middle of the ocean! Like a fisherman's hook not retrieving the stone! Not keeping vows, there is no guidance! Future followers should keep this in mind! Think about the meaning, and also speak it, it must merge with your own mind. Especially in this age of the five degenerations, the causes of death are very numerous, especially the nagas and the eight classes of gods and demons causing chaos, epidemics spreading, and various kinds of diseases. And fierce ghosts and rakshasas, etc., quickly cutting off the lives of sentient beings is very numerous, so one does not know when one will die. Also, in the terma texts, it says: In the future, when thirty years decline! In the external container world! Ghosts and demons run rampant! The inner essence of all sentient beings! Body and life perish untimely and uncertainly! The disease of the four elements will surely perish! The disease of the four elements afflicts all beings! Powerless, wandering untimely in the bardo! Like this! The illusory body, the impermanent corpse of death! The external container world is impermanent, the four seasons change! The inner essence, the impermanent body of sentient beings! Disease, weapons, war, untimely destruction! Lifespan is impermanent, declining at thirty! Gods, demons, and spirits stir like stars! Hail, frost, human and livestock diseases rage! Monasteries and sangha communities decline! The Three Jewels and lamas are terrified! The people of Tibet

There is no happiness." Thus it is said. Like this, everything is impermanent, so think that you are also impermanent, and from now on, you must diligently practice the excellent Dharma. The sutra says, "Whatever is constantly practiced with diligence, it is not difficult to attain enlightenment." It also says, "Where there is diligence, there is enlightenment." Therefore, do not be swayed by laziness and procrastination, but quickly practice the excellent Dharma as if putting out a fire on your head. Thinking that there is no certainty as to when you will die, you should think, "If you devote your whole life to the Dharma, you will not have time to do the things of this life. Isn't it good to contemplate death and impermanence?" Think like this in your heart and recite the third point of contemplation. The fourth is that it is very important to contemplate the law of karma. Guru Padmasambhava said, "All the joys and sorrows, good and bad, of this life and the next are caused by past karma. Therefore, it is very important to believe that the law of karma is infallible. If you create the cause of sin, you will produce the fruit of suffering; if you create the cause of virtue, you will produce the fruit of happiness. Upward to become a Buddha and downward to fall into the evil realms are also produced by the interdependent origination of the infallible law of karma." Thus it is said. Among them, the evil non-virtues are: killing, taking what is not given, sexual misconduct, lying, divisive speech, harsh speech, idle talk, greed, malice, and wrong views, etc., ten kinds. Each of these non-virtues has three kinds of fruits: the fruit of complete maturation, the fruit of similarity to the cause, and the fruit of the agent. If these non-virtues are driven by hatred and are committed greatly relying on a superior object, one will fall into hell; if they are driven by desire and are committed moderately relying on a medium object, one will fall into the realm of hungry ghosts; if they are driven by ignorance and are committed in small amounts relying on an inferior object, one will be reborn as an animal. As it is said in the Garland of Jewels, "All accumulate sins and fall into the evil realms." There are two kinds of fruits of similarity to the cause: the experience of similarity to the cause, if it matures and obtains a human body, as it is said in the previous sutra, "The one who kills has a short life, the one who steals is poor in resources, the one who commits sexual misconduct has many enemies, the one who lies is slandered, the one who speaks divisively separates friends, the one who speaks harshly hears evil sounds, the one who speaks idly has weak words, greed
