Both rainbows and storms appear mixed together. When there are no rainbows, harm occurs, and so on. Gods and demons cause deception. Thus it is said. However the sequence of rainbows, miracles, and harm may occur, do not engage in attachment, arrogance, joy, or sorrow, and do not accept or reject anything. One should abide in the realm of the Perfection of Wisdom. Machig said: Whatever rainbows, miracles, or harm may occur, they are merely imputed by one's own mind and do not exist inherently. In the realm of phenomena that does not exist inherently, whatever accepting or rejecting arises is itself a demon. Do not follow after objects, cut the rope of pride. Holding onto self as a demon is great. Knowing self, one is liberated from holding onto self. Knowing that, what and what's demon? There is no cutter, cutting, or name of cutting. Pride itself is the demon of pride itself. Knowing pride, pride cannot harm. Therefore, cutting all demons as pride, the appearance of pride is like the water of a mirage. A magical person cannot harm self and others. The appearance of two moons is free from defects of the eye. Not abandoning the sky, the clouds themselves rise in the sky. Since everything is self-appearance and self-liberation, how can there be accepting and rejecting for oneself by oneself? If there is, what is to be accepted and what is to be rejected? Therefore, cherishing attachment itself is a demon. Do not cherish anything, all you disciples. If cherishing attachment is liberated, there is no cutter or cutting. Any supreme path of liberation is the supreme accomplishment. The demon to be abandoned is like the deity to be practiced. Knowing similarity, that is merely a term, it does not exist inherently. Neither one nor not one, it cannot be shown. If one knows one's own pride and is liberated in one's own place, for oneself by oneself, the essence is beyond thought and expression. Object and subject, dualistic grasping, are cut from the root. In the nature of the Dharma realm, which is empty, selfless, and free from elaboration, pure like the sky, leave it naturally and uncorrected, all you disciples. Thus it is said. In short, having arrived in a solitary place, one practices without separating from the three aspects of continuous practice. In the scroll it says: Having arrived, cherish these three aims. Generosity and transforming the mind are great. Not clinging to the body, giving without expectation. Emptiness is a great support. Abiding in the state of unborn and non-conceptual. Practice is the greatest essence. Cherish diligence without distraction and without pride. Continuous

are the three objects of focus. As it is said, if one possesses these, then the increase and flourishing mentioned above will be perfected. However, even if one diligently focuses on such objects, if there is no increase but instead flourishing and great miraculous power arise, Generally, the Chö practice does not contend with gods and demons, does not establish boldness, does not initiate competition, does not transmit harm, takes a humble position, and accepts defeat. Whatever happiness or suffering arises, ultimately one relies on the single hope of offering the body. Even if you do something like "Take it!", it is of no use. Therefore, there are three stages of ultimate dedication: externally dedicating to gods and demons, intermediately dedicating to the aggregates, and internally dedicating to self-grasping. First, externally dedicating to gods and demons involves dealing with gods and demons such as nagas, demons, or tsen, who have previously caused harm, or offering them through Chö practice, or dealing with situations where they flourish due to other causes. That is, applying fierceness upon fierceness is a very dangerous place, or a place of great miraculous power and cruelty, etc. In short, one goes to a place that is difficult to cut through and lies down in a state of abiding in reality. The gods and demons residing there will be unable to bear it and will rise up in a frenzy. At that time, one generates confidence through practice, generates signs of realization, and generates the power of endurance through perseverance, so the gods and demons cannot find an opportunity and flee. Second, intermediately dedicating the aggregates involves going to a place of great miraculous power and difficult to cut through, tying a black rope with a death knot, tying it around one's neck, and placing the end of the rope in the hand of a statue on the wall if it is a temple; if it is a tree, tie it to the tree; if it is a rock or boulder or cairn, tie it to that as well; if it is a haystack, or a burial mound, or a large plain, drive a stake into the middle of it and tie it there; if it is a spring, tie a flat stone to the end of the rope and throw it into the water, and then dedicate it to the residing gods and demons, lying down in a state of practice. In "Cutting Through Delusion" it says: The instruction for ultimate dedication is: In that place, lie down with head and feet reversed, tie a black rope around your neck, and dedicate it to a spring, tree, or rock. The awareness is in a state of stainless, unfabricated, and relaxed without pride. View everything as a child's game. Thus it is said. Third, internally dedicating to self-grasping means that no matter what, this aggregate of the four elements cannot escape death, and will never
