It is not permissible to use it as a leg bone trumpet. It is acceptable for those above sixteen years of age and below sixty. Those who committed suicide, died of famine, died in childbirth, died in battle, were childless, butchers, struck by lightning, and likewise, leg bones with bad omens are not suitable. Those without leg bone heads, those with cracks, the legs of lepers, iron, copper, wood, ram's horns, and those that are glued and connected to the leg are all damaged leg bones and should not be used. In particular, the horn of a black yak is a container used for suppression and is an unsuitable material. If it is attached to the leg and blown, the listener will hear distorted sounds, feel uneasy, and generate harmful thoughts. In general, wherever that sound is propagated, various inauspicious events will occur in that area, so the leg bone with a black yak horn should never be used. Although human leg bones are materials for blowing, those leg bones that are not suitable are materials for warding off and generating various evils. It should be known that these are bad omens, and examination is crucial. What is suitable for use is that which is free from those defects and possesses qualities. That is, for a person with great anger, the vigor of intimidating the enemy, that vigor has subsided, and for the mind of intimidating the enemy, there is no time for other thoughts to arise, and they are killed by being struck with a weapon. And women with sexual characteristics, monks who have not broken their vows, and people who are very devout and flee from sin, those of the Bodhisattva lineage, etc. In particular, the right leg of a person who dies at the height of their maturity without losing their mind is the material for summoning heroes, and the left leg is the material for summoning heroines. Do not go under the corpse; whatever is on top should be cut off. Cut between the thin, thick, and clear yellow bone of the first joint and the two small protrusions below. Do not damage the small joint; make it like an elephant's ear. The front of the two bone protrusions of the lower joint, like a large lentil-like depression, do not damage the first joint, and make the connection in between like a lion's nostril. It is best if the whole thing resembles a slope on a mountain. The material for summoning heroes is especially the leg of a middle-aged man killed by a weapon. The material for summoning dakinis is the leg of a woman with sexual characteristics.

Since anything that can hold the summons of ordinary non-humans is permissible. Furthermore, copper horns and leg bone horns made of copper and ironwood should also be discarded. The measurement is: the end of the leg bone horn is placed in the palm of the left hand, with the fingers pointing upwards. Measure from the tip of the fingers, and cut it off at the point where it reaches twelve fingers. If the inside is not hollowed out and the mouth is flared outwards, the sound will be pleasant. The way to blow it is that because the small spirits who hear the sound will faint, clap three times in the palm of the hand to signal, and then blow. First, send out one loud, melodious, and long sound, thinking that you are telling the gods, demons, and all sentient beings dwelling in the three realms to listen. When the sentient beings of the three realms hear it, they will feel joy in their minds, like the joy of attaining the first bhumi, and they will interrupt whatever they are not free to do, thinking that they must go to that sacred place, and joy will arise. The second time is the same as before, but make two variations, thinking that you are telling all the guests dwelling in the three realms and the ten directions to gather here. As soon as you blow it, a buzzing sound will come from all directions, above and below, and they will gather with joy, like flocks of birds and snowflakes. The third time, it is shorter than the previous two, with a strong sound and three throat variations. When you blow it, think that all the guests have unlimited joy, happiness, and satisfaction in me, and abide in the manner of blowing, and then do three (ཕཊཿ, phaṭ, फट्, cut). The visualization of (ཕཊཿ, phaṭ, फट्, cut) is the same as the leg bone horn. That is the initial situation, but usually there is no difference between the visualization of the leg bone horn and (ཕཊཿ, phaṭ, फट्, cut). However, in the case of invitation, offering, etc., know how to use it appropriately. Furthermore, when the great vidyadhara Tsewang Norbu was residing in the hidden land of Jönpalung, the way the light of symbolic appearance manifested was nine times. Ha ri ni sa two, ra tsa hrī ya three, It is said that this is the mantra for invoking the seed syllables of the ten heroes and heroines, and it is the tradition of the accomplished Thangtong Gyalpo, but it is definitely the tradition of the vidyadharas. The Omniscient One, in the laughter of the dakinis, blows five sounds from the seed syllables of the five families, etc. These well-known things are unique to the Nyingma school. The above three are the tradition of Machik, which is clearly recorded in the guru's practice and the notes of the nephew Ratna Singha. The Yangzhi (basis of prosperity) until accomplishment is not attained
