Now, When was it obtained? When sick, invite a skilled doctor and apply the best non-relapsing medicine to the key points to cure the illness, which is a good habit for ordinary people. I, a beggar, at the time of death, cannot take away even a fraction of a hair divided into a hundred parts of the causes and conditions of worldly perfections and physical lives. Because there is no attachment to inner and outer self, there is nothing to cling to or worry about. Without regard for physical life, I abandon them to be consumed by whatever desires. What need is there to mention other causes of attachment such as food and wealth? For any cause such as illness and demons, I treat them from a state of selflessness through focused meditation, without the need for external prayer treatments and shamans, which is the religion of me, a beggar. Generally, in order to benefit sentient beings, one must dedicate one's own body, enjoyment, eloquence, power, and so on to others. If one does not dedicate and harms other sentient beings for the sake of one's own peace, these practitioners. The reason why the Buddha Shakyamuni used to actually dedicate his head, hands, feet, and whatever else was desired without regard for them, is it not felt by the practitioners of today? Even if they feel it, have they seen the Buddha say that it is not necessary to do so? If not, then it is unreasonable to be so attached to worldly affairs and to make preparations for tens of thousands of years. Or know that it is being deceived by demons, all speakers of the Dharma. Those who follow me, a beggar, do this, and without hesitation, it is my religion. I do this So remember, all disciples. Without regard for one's own body, enjoyment, eloquence, power, roots of virtue, etc., dedicate them to the benefit of others, and do not generate even the slightest selfish thought like the tip of a hair, and gain this firmness of mind. Not separating from the essence of loving-kindness and compassion, the mind of enlightenment, that is what is called the supreme Chöd. That is what is called the Mahayana. That is what is called the Great Bodhisattva Path. That is what is called the source of the accomplished ones. That is what is called the footprints of the Buddhas. Therefore, Dharma

In this way, one can be liberated from samsara. It is extremely difficult for Hinayana teachings, which seek their own benefit and abandon sentient beings, to attain Buddhahood that liberates from samsara. For example, in great darkness, the light of the moon and stars, and the fire produced by rubbing butter and wood, even if very bright, can only illuminate themselves and cannot dispel all the darkness. Only when the sun rises can all the darkness be completely dispelled. Similarly, my Mahamudra Chöd, like the rising sun of Mahayana Dharma, can dispel the darkness of samsara. Mahamudra refers to all phenomena, including outer and inner, which from the very beginning have no true existence of their own, not even a hair's breadth. Therefore, the state of emptiness of self-nature is called Dharma Mahamudra. Understanding the meaning of this, and being accustomed to emptiness, a yogi who can transform emptiness itself into a path, by empowering the illusory wheel of channels, winds, and bindus, relying on a wisdom mother with lineage, transforming bliss into a path, and increasing physical strength through great joy, is called Karma Mahamudra. Practicing all virtues in a hidden manner, and not departing from external material vows, is called Samaya Mahamudra. Without attachment to special bliss, filling emptiness with warmth and bliss, is called Bliss-Emptiness Mahamudra. Being liberated from all obscurations of defilements, and all appearances arising as emptiness, like dreams and illusions, is called Clarity-Emptiness Mahamudra. However, the Mahamudra that I am now explaining and is widely known is: Hand (ཕྱག་) refers to all objects of perception, and Seal (རྒྱ་) refers to these objects of perception having no true existence of their own from the very beginning, not even the tip of a hair. Therefore, the union of the inner manifestation of great emptiness and emptiness without inherent existence is what is meant, which is the known external Mahamudra. By realizing the selflessness of both inner and outer, through the power of the wind-mind entering the central channel, in the special experience of bliss-clarity unobstructed, one clearly knows the three times: past, future, and present.
