It is called excellent. It is said that the self-condition, other-condition, and sutra-condition should be gathered together. Secondly, in the post-attainment, one should know it like the example of illusion. It is said that the meaning of this is: As it is said in the Sutra King of Samadhi: "Just like a mirage, a city of gandharvas, Like an illusion, like a dream, Meditating on the signs, empty of inherent nature, All dharmas, know them in this way. Just as the moon rises in the clear sky, Its reflection appears in the clear lake, The moon is not reflected in the water, Know all dharmas to be of such nature. Just as people enter the forest mountains, From singing, speaking, laughing, and crying, Although echoes are heard, there is no appearance, Know all dharmas in this way. Singing and music, as well as crying, Echoes arise based on them, But there is never melody in the sound, Know all dharmas in this way. Just as in a dream, one indulges in desires, But the awakened person cannot see them, Children are deeply attached and cling to desires, Know all dharmas in this way. Magicians conjure up various forms, Horses, elephants, carts, various kinds, In them, there is no appearance whatsoever, Know all dharmas in this way. Just as in the dream of a young girl, She sees a girl being born and dying, Happy when born, unhappy when dying, Know all dharmas in this way. Just as the moon in the water at night, Appears in clear and unpolluted water, Knowing the moon in the water to be empty, ungraspable, Know all dharmas in this way. Just as in the midday sun of summer, A thirsty person, suffering from thirst while walking, Sees a pile of water in a mirage, Know all dharmas in this way. In a mirage, there is no water, Ignorant beings desire to drink it, But the false water cannot be drunk, Know all dharmas in this way. Just as a person, Chops down a moist and juicy tree, Seeking its heartwood, But there is no heartwood inside or out, Know all dharmas in this way." Having practiced and taken to heart the teachings, dharmas.

One should keep the mind inseparable from mindfulness, diligently practicing virtuous deeds and yoga, etc. Third, blending into union: When blending into coemergent union, whatever thoughts and concepts arise, one should know them as the union of appearance and emptiness, the inseparability of bliss and emptiness, clarity and emptiness without grasping, and the non-duality of memory and emptiness. Because this is the nature of the meaning of reality, all Buddhas of the three times attained Buddhahood through realizing it in this way. If one does not recognize this and is obscured by negative habitual tendencies in the base, and accumulates karma through the consciousness of the base, one will wander in samsara. This is because the guru has not pointed it out, and one has not practiced the means of counteracting it. As it says in the "Profound Meaning Commentary": "It has always been present, yet one does not recognize it; one dwells together, yet one does not see its face; one accompanies it constantly, yet one does not recognize it." For example, one's own eyes and face are close and have been together for a long time, but one cannot see them until one looks in a mirror. The guru's pointing out is like a mirror, and one's own practice is like the eyes. If these two are not combined, then the Dharma, which is like the face, cannot be seen. Therefore, it is said that these two must be combined. Furthermore, for those who cannot comprehend so much, one should guide them with methods that emphasize the practice of calm abiding. With the body possessing the seven-point posture, focus the mind on a white ཨ་(藏文,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:A)at the tip of the nose, the size of a mustard seed, and meditate on it briefly and repeatedly. Sometimes, visualize that ཨ་(藏文,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:A)moves outward about twelve fingers' width, accompanied by the breath. Visualize inhaling the breath and the ཨ་(藏文,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:A)remaining at the tip of the nose, repeatedly, as a means of stabilizing the mind. Sometimes, focus on a white drop the size of a bean inside the heart, and remain still until it is stable. Sometimes, dissolve that drop from the upper tip of the heart, through the central channel, into the sky, visualizing it merging with the sky without separation and pervading everywhere. Sometimes, visualize the upper end of the central channel inserted into the crown of the head and the lower end inserted below the navel. Within the central channel at the level of the navel, focus on a red ཨ་ཤད་(藏文,梵文天城体:आ,梵文罗马拟音:ā,汉语字面意思:A), and hold the vase breath. Exhale and meditate again. Rotate the abdomen left and right, holding the breath as before. Again, visualize your own body instantly transforming into a white ཨ་(藏文,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:A), performing the two benefits, dissolving into light, and meditating according to the Great Mother Tantra, reciting the Gate Mantra, and focusing on the ཨ་(藏文,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:A)on the moon seat in the heart. Visualize light rays radiating throughout space, and after performing the two benefits, visualize that appearances, sounds, and movements are all the play of deities, mantras, and the nature of reality.
