I pray to all of you. Please bless me to endure asceticism in the mountain cave. You are ashamed of things that are not shameful, embrace the son of shame, buy the daughter of shame with value, and exhaust your efforts for the sake of shameful deeds. This is a naturally occurring male symbol. Since being named male and female, everyone knows this existence. You have no regard for shame. Evil deeds, deception, theft, bad behavior, malice, wrong views, and selling acquaintances and close ones, these are all shameful things, but no one cares. The secret practice of Vajra's profoundness, and the meditators of profound oral instructions, when dedicating their lives to the Dharma, have no fear of shame at all. You, Peta Mare, do not be discouraged, do not despair, go and be a beggar! After saying this, he meditated diligently, but because he could not sustain himself, the power of meditation became weaker and weaker, eventually becoming weak and powerless. One day, several shepherds came to that rock with the deer meat they had hunted, and shouted loudly because of hunger. When the venerable one saw them, he asked: Do you like to hear people speak? They replied that they did. The venerable one said: You live on this rock, what are the merits of this rock? In response, he sang this song. The blessing of the master entered the rock. If you do not know the merits of this rock, Spo Ri Spo Ton is the fortress of the sky. In the palace of the sky fortress, above are dense southern dark clouds, below flows the clear blue river. Behind is the red rock, the fortress of the sky. In front is a meadow of blooming flowers. Beside it, wild beasts roar, and on the other side, the king of birds, the eagle, soars. At times, there is a drizzle, and often bees sing. The mother and child deer play and dance, the mother and child cuckoo make various calls. The divine bird, the pheasant, sings, and the waterfall makes a gurgling sound. The sounds of the seasons are friends of practice. The merits of this place are unimaginable. This is a song I sing when I am happy, this is the teaching I speak from my mouth, this is what I say to you shepherds. Do not do evil, do good. After saying this, the shepherds were amazed and offered him the deer meat and a small piece of leftover flour. The venerable one ate the meat in moderation, and his body became strong, and the power of meditation greatly increased. His body and mind became clear, and he became virtuous.

Due to good circumstances, after a day or two, an old shepherd brought some tsampa and asked, "Are you feeling well today?" He replied, "I am very well," and then sang this song. In the palace of White Rock High Peak, The practice of Milarepa is comfortable. In the future, all who wish to attain enlightenment, If you wish to practice the meaning, do it like this! Having said this, the patrons were delighted, prostrated many times, and went home. After a day or two, the patrons came with some friends, each carrying a piece of tsampa, and said, "Lama, the song you sang the other day was very good, but we are of little wisdom and did not understand it. Please say something with few words and clear meaning." So he sang this song: The blessings of the Lord Lama have entered the rock, Bless me, a beggar, to dwell in the rock. Faith, learning, and discipline, these three, These three are the life-force of the mind. If erected, they are stable; if planted, they are comfortable, If you would make a life-force, make these three.
