Please accept me with your compassion. The four profound symbolic empowerments are bestowed upon me. Bless me to purify the continuum completely. The seeds of aspiration are stirred from the depths of my heart. That inner awareness, the way the mind abides, For the sake of uninterrupted luminosity, The natural, unadulterated essence is shown. Fleeting thoughts dissolve into the expanse. The uncontaminated bliss arises from within. The primordially pure ground of all. The ground, path, and three kayas are definitively established. I also met the primordial mother, the nature of mind. At this time, a wondrous sign appeared, The butter lamp on the lamp tree, only the size of a fingernail, Shone for seven days. The tree that had become rigid, Moved unbearably. Seven emanated red jackal tongues, Were seen actually taking the torma. The dakinis abiding in the three realms, Uttered the self-sound of formless mantras. The field protectors filling the intermediate space, Hearing the sounds of various musical instruments being played. You, after three lifetimes, Will obtain supreme accomplishment, This was heard from the mouth of the great Lord. In general, I am bad, but the lama is good. The ultimate peak of Dharma view has been completely understood. There is no doubt about the path and the inferiority of the sect. This is the view of the great Maitripa. Please make your mind happy with this. This was offered as a gift by Lama Minyam Dorje to the Dharma friends led by Ugyen Dorje. After that, Marpa the Translator, at the Rinchen Tsul monastery in Nepal, heard from the Pandit Lama the realization of the Single-Hair Woman, the method of practice of Ambrosia Light, and some scattered Completion Stage instructions. One night, he dreamed that the Lord Maitripa was riding a lion and ascending into the sky. He cried out, "Father Lord, please accept me with your compassion!" Maitripa appeared in the sky in front of him, indicated with gestures, spoke the Dharma that is beyond comparison, realized the meaning that transcends limits, and dreamed that an unprecedented experience arose. When he woke up, he remembered his lama and wept profusely. The next night, to thank the Pandit Lama for teaching the Dharma and to pray to Maitripa, he prepared a grand feast offering. In the row of the feast offering, the Pandit said, "In tonight's feast offering, you must sing a song that arises in your heart." So, Marpa sang a song repeating omens, revealing the place where the mind sinks.

Should I return to India again? At dawn, in a hazy dream, A woman wearing leaves and bark, Extending her right hand, her fingers Touched the top of my head, saying: You should not return to India, But go back to the central region of Tibet. If you do not go to the land of snow, External and internal obstacles will not arise, Because there are capable disciples there. She gave prophecies and blessings. I am certain that she is the dakini who protects that land. This is also the kindness of the venerable you.
