བ་མུ་གེ་ཆེ་ལགས་ཀྱང་། །ང་ལ་དཀའ་ཐུབ་ཆུ་འཐུང་གི་གདམས་ངག་ཡོད། །འདི་བཟའ་བཏུང་ཕལ་གྱི་དོ་ཟླ་མིན། །ལས་ཅི་ལ་ཐུག་ཀྱང་རྒྱ་གར་ལ་འགྲོ། །འཆི་བ་སྲོག་ལ་བབ་ཀྱང་རྒྱ་གར་ལ་འགྲོ། །ལམ་བར་དང་ཡུལ་ཕྲན་འཇིགས་པ་ཆེ་ལགས་ཀྱང་། །ང་ལ་མ་མོ་ཇག་ཆིང་གི་གདམས་ངག་ཡོད། །འདི་ཟླ་སྐྱེལ་ཕལ་གྱི་དོ་ཟླ་མིན། ། ལས་ཅི་ལ་ཐུག་ཀྱང་རྒྱ་གར་ལ་འགྲོོ། །འཆི་བ་སྲོག་ལ་བབ་ཀྱང་རྒྱ་གར་ལ་འགྲོ། །བླ་མ་ནཱ་རོ་དང་མཻ་ཏྲི་ཡང་རྒྱ་གར་ན་བཞུགས། །དཔལ་ཞི་བ་བཟང་པོ་ཡང་རྒྱ་གར་ན་བཞུགས། །རྟེན་མ་ཧཱ་བོ་དྷི་ཡང་རྒྱ་གར་ན་བཞུགས། །ང་ལས་ཅི་ལ་ཐུག་ཀྱང་རྒྱ་གར་ལ་འགྲོ། །འཆི་བ་སྲོག་ལ་བབ་ཀྱང་རྒྱ་གར་ལ་འགྲོ། །ཞེས་གསུངས་ཤིང་ཐག་ཆོད་པའི་ཚེ། སྔར་འབུལ་སྡུད་ལ་བྱུང་པའི་གསེར་དང་སློབ་མ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་འབུལ་བ་ཐམས་ཅད་གསེར་དུ་བསྒྲིལ་ནས་གསེར་དཀར་ཡོལ་གང་བྱུང་བ་བསྣམས་ཏེ། གཞན་ཕྱག་ཕྱི་ལ་གཏོང་བའི་ཞུ་བ་ཕུལ་བ་ཡང་མ་གནང་བར་གཅིག་པུར་རྒྱ་གར་ལ་བྱོན་ནོ། །དེ་ནས་དཔལ་ནཱ་རོ་པ་ཆེན་པོས་མར་པ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་བློ་གྲོས་འདི་ངའི་རྒྱལ་ཚབ་ཏུ་བཀོད་པ་ཡིན་གསུངས། རྫོངས་ཀྱི་ཚོགས་མཆོད་བཤམས་པའི་གྲལ་དུ་བཀའ་ལུང་གནང་བ་ནི། ལོ་ཙཱ་བ་ཁྱོད་ལ་སྔར་ངས་ངོ་སྤྲོད་པ་ལྟར་ཕུང་པོ་ལྔ་རིགས་ལྔ། ཉོན་མོངས་པ་ལྔ་ཡེ་ཤེས་ལྔར་གདོད་ནས་གནས་པ་ངོ་འཕྲོད་ཕྱིར་ངོ་བོ་ལ་སྤང་བླང་མེད་པས་སྣང་སྲིད་ཀྱི་ཆོས་ཐམས་ཅད་རྒྱལ་བ་རིགས་ལྔའི་ངོ་བོར་གྱུར་ཅིང་དེ་དག་ཆོས་ཉིད་འགག་མེད་དུ་ཤེས་པའི་རང་རྩལ་དུ་ཤེས་པས་ཟུང་འཇུག་ཏུ་མ་གྱུར་པའི་ཆོས་གཅིག་ཀྱང་མེད་ ཕྱིར། ཆོས་ཉིད་ཀྱི་ཀློང་དུ་ཉམས་སུ་ལེན་པ་ལ་ཐོག་རྡུགས་མེད་པ་དཔེ་ནམ་མཁའ་ལ་བྱ་འཕུར་བ་ལྟ་བུ་ཡིན་ཞིང་དེ་རྟོགས་པའི་ཆོས་འཁོར་གྱི་བསྟན་པ་འཁོར་ལོས་སྒྱུར་བའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལྟ་བུ་མངོན་དུ་གྱུར་པ་ཡིན་པས། ལུང་གི་ཆོས་འཁོར་གྱི་བསྟན་པ་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་སྣ་བདུན་ལྟ་བུ་ཤུགས་ལ་འཛིན་པར་འགྱུར་བས་སྤྱིར་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་བསྟན་པ་ལ་མདོ་སྔགས་གཉིས་ཀ་ལུང་རྟོགས་ཀྱི་སྒོ་ནས་འཛིན་ཅིང་། བྱེ་བྲག་ཏུ་གསང་སྔགས་ཀྱི་བསྟན་པ་ལུང་རྟོགས་གཉིས་ཀ་ཉིན་མོར་བྱེད་པར་འགྱུར་ཞིང་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཚེ་འདིའི་རིགས་རྒྱུད་ཆད་དེ་ཆོས་རྒྱུད་ཆུ་བོའི་གཞུང་ལྟར་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་བསྟན་པ་ནམ་གནས་ཀྱི་བར་དུ་གནས་པར་འགྱུར་ལ་མ་དག་པའི་གང་ཟག་འགའ་ཞིག་གི་སྣང་ངོར་ཁྱོད་ཚེ་འདིའི་འདོད་ཡོན་ལ་མངོན་ཞེན་རྡོ་ལ་རི་མོ་བྲིས་པ་བཞིན་དུ་འགྱུར་མི་སྲིད་ཅིང་བརྟན་བརྟན་དང་ཆེ་ཆེ་འདྲ་མོ་ཞིག་སྣང་རུང་། ཁྱོད་རང་གི་ངོ་ཐོག་ན་ཆོས་ཉིད་དུ་ངོ་འཕྲོད་འདུག་པས་སྦྲུལ་ལ་མདུད་པ་བོར་བ་བཞིན་འཁོར་བ་རང་གྲོལ་དུ་འགྱུར་ལ། མ་འོངས་པའི་སློབ་རྒྱུད་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱང་སེང་གེ་དང་ཁྱུང་གི་ཕྲུག་གུ་བཞིན་དུ་ཇེ་བཟང་ཇེ་བཟང་ལ་འགྲོ་བ་ཡིན་ཞིང་། རང་རེ་གཉིས་ཚེ་འདི་ལ་བརྩེ་གདུང་ནང་མཐུན་པས་འོད་གསལ་གྱི་ངང་ལ་འདུ་འབྲལ་མེད་ལ། ཕྱི་མ་ཡང་དག་པ་མཁའ་སྤྱོད་ཀྱི་གནས་སུ་ངས་བསུ་སྟེ་འབྲལ་མེད་དུ་འགྲོགས་པར་འགྱུར་ བས་དགའ་བར་གྱིས་ཤིག་ཅེས་གསུངས་པས་མར་པས་ཆོས་རྒྱུད་ལ་དར་རྒྱས་ཡོང་བའི་ལུང་བསྟན་ཐུགས་རྗེས་བཟུང་། མཐར་ཐུག་མདོ་སྔགས་ཀྱི་ལྟ་བ་རྟོགས་པ་ལ་ཁྱད་མི་འདུག་པས་གཉིས་ཀའི་རྟོགས་པ་དང་ལུང་གི་བསྟན་པ་འཛིན་རུང་། རྣམ་པ་ཀུན་སྤྱོད་སོ་ཐར་ཉན་ཐོས་ཀྱི་ཆ་ལུགས་ཅན་ནི་མི་ཡོད་ལགས་སམ། བདག་ལ་དར་མ་མདོ་སྡེ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ཞིག་གིས་ཐོག་དྲངས་ཤ་ནས་ཆད་པའི་བུ་བདུན་ཡོད་རུང་། རིགས་རྒྱུད་ཆད་ན་མི་ཆད་པའི་ཐབས་ཀྱི་བཀའ་ལུང་གནང་དུ་རུང་ལགས་སམ་ཞེས་ཞུས་པས། པན་ཆེན་ནཱ་རོ་པའི་ཞལ་ནས། མ་འོངས་པ་ན་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཆོས་རྒྱུད་ལ་ཕྱི་ཉན་ཐོས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་པ་ཅན་ལ་ནང་ཐེག་ཆེན་གྱི་དོན་རྟོགས་པའི་སར་གནས་ཀྱི་སེམས་དཔའ་འཁོར་བཅས་ཀྱང་མང་པོ་འབྱུང་ཞིང་། གཞན་ཆ་ལུགས་ངེས་མེད་ཀྱི་སྒྲུབ་རྒྱུད་ཀྱི་བསྟན་པ་དར་རྒྱས་སུ་བྱེད་པར་འགྱུར་ལ། བུ་བདུན་གྱི་མི་ཚད་སྟོང་ཡོད་ཀྱང་རིགས་རྒྱུད་ཡོངས་རིགས་སུ་མི་འདུག་ནའང་འགྱོད་མེད་ཀྱི་ཐབས་ལ་ཕ་བུ་ཀུན་ཡི་དམ་ལྷའི་བསྙེན་སྒྲུབ་ཀྱི་མཚམས་དམ་པོའི་ངང་ནས་མཁའ་འགྲོ་ཆོས་སྐྱོང་གི་ཚོགས་གཏོར་ལ་འབད་འབུངས་ཐོན། ཁྱོད་སྐྱེ་བ་སྔོན་ནས་སྦྱངས་པའི་ལས་འཕྲོ་ཅན་སར་གནས་ཀྱི་སེམས་དཔའ་ཆེན་པོ་ཡིན་ཕྱིར་འགྲོ་བ་མང་པོ་ལ་ཕན་ཐོགས་པར་འདུག་པས། བོད་གངས་ཅན་གྱིས་གདུལ་བྱ་རྣམས་འདུལ་ཕྱིར་ངའི་རྒྱལ་ཚབ་ ཏུ་མངའ་གསོལ་བ་ཡིན་ནོ་གསུངས། ཕྱག་གཡས་མར་པའི་དབུ་ཐོག་ཏུ་བཞག་ནས་མ་འོངས་ལུང་བསྟན་གྱི་མགུར་འདི་གསུངས་སོ། །སྔོན་ཚུལ་བཞིན་སྦྱངས་པའི་ལས་འཕྲོ་ཅན། །གཉུག་མའི་དོན་རྟོགས་རྣལ་འབྱོར་པ། །བོད་ཡུལ་གྱི་མར་པ་ལོ་ཙཱ་ཁྱོད། །རིགས་ལྔ་བྱ་འཕུར་ཆོས་ཉིད་ཀློང་། །འཁོར་ལོ་སྒྱུར་རྒྱལ་རིན་ཆེན་འཛིན། །རིགས་རྒྱུད་ནམ་མཁའི་མེ་ཏོག་ཡལ། །ཆོས་རྒྱུད་ཆུ་བོའི་གཞུང་དང་འདྲ། །ཞེན་པ་རྡོ་ལ་རི་མོ་བཀྲ། །འཁོར་བ་ཆུ་རིས་རང་ཡལ་འགྱུར། །བུ་སེང་གེ་ཁྱུང་གི་ཕྲུག་གུ་བཞིན། །

After saying these words and making a firm decision, he melted all the gold that had been offered and accumulated before, as well as all the offerings from the disciples, into gold, filled a golden bowl, and without asking anyone else to escort him, he went alone to India. After that, the glorious Naropa said, "I have appointed Marpa Chokyi Lodrö as my regent." In the row preparing for the farewell feast, he gave the teaching: "Translator, as I introduced you before, in order for you to recognize that the five aggregates are the five Buddhas, the five afflictions are the five wisdoms, which originally exist, therefore there is no acceptance or rejection in the essence, and all phenomena of existence become the essence of the five Buddhas, and recognize that these are the self-nature of Dharma-nature without obstruction, therefore there is not a single Dharma that does not transform into union. Therefore, there is no obstacle to practicing in the space of Dharma-nature, just like a bird flying in the sky, and the Dharma-wheel teaching that realizes this path manifests like a Chakravartin king. Because the Dharma-wheel teaching of scripture is naturally grasped like the seven precious royal possessions, in general, you will hold the Buddha's teachings in both sutra and tantra, through both doctrine and realization. In particular, you will make the teachings of secret mantra, both doctrine and realization, as clear as day, and your lineage of this life will be cut off, while the Dharma lineage will be like a river, lasting until the day the Buddha's teachings exist. In the eyes of some impure people, your attachment to the desires of this life will be as meaningless as drawing a picture on a stone."

It appears as something that governs, is stable, and vast. Because you have recognized the nature of reality in your own being, like a snake uncoiling a knot, samsara will naturally dissolve. All future disciples will also become better and better, like lion and garuda cubs. We two will be loving and harmonious in this life, inseparable in the state of clear light. In the future, I will welcome you to the pure land of the Dakinis and accompany you without separation. Be happy about this!" So he spoke, and Marpa received the prophecy of the flourishing of the Dharma lineage with compassion. Ultimately, there is no difference in the view of Sutra and Tantra, so it is possible to hold the realization and teachings of both. Are there any people who are outwardly of the Vinaya Hearer's conduct? I have seven sons who have been cut off from the bloodline, starting with Darma Dode. Is it possible to grant instructions on how to prevent the lineage from being cut off if the bloodline is cut off? Then, the great scholar Naropa said, "In the future, in your Dharma lineage, there will be many bodhisattvas who outwardly have the appearance of Hearers, but inwardly realize the meaning of the Great Vehicle, along with their retinues. In addition, the teachings of the practice lineage, which are not bound by fixed forms, will flourish. Even if there are seven sons, or even a thousand sons, if the lineage is not pure, there is no way to avoid regret. As a means of avoiding regret, all fathers and sons should diligently perform ganachakras for the assemblies of dakinis and Dharma protectors in strict retreat for the practice of the yidam deity. Because of your practice in previous lives, you are a great bodhisattva who dwells on the bhumis and has karmic connections, so you will be of great benefit to many beings. In order to tame the beings to be tamed in the snowy land of Tibet, I am enthroning you as my representative." Having said this, he placed his right hand on Marpa's head and spoke this song of future prophecy. "You who have practiced well in the past and have karmic connections, the yogi who realizes the innate meaning, Marpa Lotsawa of the land of Tibet, the five families fly like birds in the space of Dharma nature, the Chakravartin holds the precious jewel, the lineage vanishes like a flower in the sky, the Dharma lineage is like the flow of a river, attachment is like painting on a stone, samsara dissolves naturally like ripples in water, the sons are like lion and garuda cubs."
