Om! Adorned with co-emergent luminosity. This, the nature of the Dharmakaya, is clear. Now, joyful and comfortable, grateful to the Guru! The place of reliance is in the Three Jewels. Requesting refuge for both the long term and the immediate. Whatever is thought of comes to fruition. Now, joyful and comfortable, grateful to the Guru! Turning away from attachment to illusory wealth. Not listening to the words that lead people astray. Thus, one is able to join the ranks of renunciant mendicants. Now, joyful and comfortable, grateful to the Guru! Remembering the kindness of the kind father. Joy overflows from the mouth. This is certainly not something I alone possess. May it be accomplished swiftly through blessings! Thus he prayed. Namo Guru! The Lord of Yogis, Tilopa, at the monastery of Soma Pura in the west, with iron shackles on his feet, practiced for twelve years. He attained common siddhis and beheld the face of the Yidam deity. Having gained control over the arising elements, he intended to depart for practice, but the Lama and Khenpo did not allow it, feeling that it was not right to break their word. So he transferred the consciousness of a fish into the sky, displaying miraculous powers. Everyone knew that he had attained accomplishment, so they let him go as he pleased. Later, he went to the southern part of India to search for Acharya Nagarjuna. In the south, there was a great charnel ground called "Terrifying Laughter," where there was a representation of the Great Lord Ishvara. Many Dakinis, both Buddhist and non-Buddhist, gathered in turns on auspicious days to perform a Tsokhorlo (gathering feast). He met the Acharya, who was dwelling in the hut of the ascetic Matamgi, and asked if he knew Guru Nagarjuna. The Acharya said, "Guru has gone to teach Dharma to the King of the Gandharvas. I have been sent to guide you." So he offered a mandala without hesitation and took him as his Guru. Immediately, the Acharya bestowed upon him the empowerment of glorious Guhyasamaja and gave instructions, saying, "The true nature of mind is like this, so always meditate without straying from the meaning of Suchness." Having instructed him thus, he shattered his pride of lineage and allowed him to engage in conduct that manifests the realization of the path. The Acharya said, "Young man, from here, go a long distance east to the region of Bengal, where there is a great city of Zahor called Harikila."

In the past, there was a place called Raja Udmake, blessed by an emanation king. Because it was naturally conducive to practice and the path was swift, in the center of that city was a market called Pañca Paṇa, where the five desirable qualities gathered. There lived a prostitute named Ḍārima with many servants. Her servants practiced realization through the path. Before long, you will attain the supreme accomplishment of Mahāmudrā, and you will also liberate many beings. Thus, it was prophesied. That Lord of Yoga also practiced according to the guru's instructions. Every night, he would entice the prostitute's customers and befriend them; every day, he would work at pounding sesame seeds. Somehow, the realization of that very nature manifested, and he attained the supreme accomplishment of Mahāmudrā. Therefore, the townspeople had different visions: some saw a blazing fire surrounded by twelve lamps; some saw a monk sitting in meditation within a mass of light; some saw a yogi adorned with charnel ground attire being prostrated to and circumambulated by many women. When they told Ḍārima about this and went to see, they saw in the sky in front of them, in the center of a mass of light, he was sitting in the manner of a king playing, with his right hand about to drop the pestle, while still pounding sesame seeds. Ḍārima was heartbroken with regret. She prostrated and circumambulated, with a maṇḍala leading the way, and took his feet to her crown. "Venerable one, I did not know you were an accomplished one, and I have accumulated sins in the past, please forgive me. From now on, please accept me." When she prayed like this, the yogi said, "You did not make me do these things knowing I was a holy person, so you are without fault. I practiced the path by relying on this behavior. Now, may all the dharmas that have arisen in my mind, which are naturally unborn, this primordial co-emergent wisdom, enter your heart." Having said this, he placed a flower on her crown, and she was immediately liberated, becoming a yogini who manifested on the path of blessings. That's all.
