The outer world, the inner Vajra body, and the other three wheels of the mandala are all realized as the indivisible nature of that very wisdom Mahamudra, so in essence, it is the nature of the Buddha. The Sanskrit word for Buddha, "Buddha" (Sanskrit Devanagari: बुद्ध, Sanskrit Romanization: Buddha, Chinese literal meaning: Awakened One), also includes the meaning of understanding and realization. When practicing, in the relative truth, the appearances of grasping and being grasped, etc., are like the moon in the water, which in essence does not exist, but in the face of conceptualization, it appears as an external object, which should be seen as the self-radiance of the mind. In the ultimate truth, the essence of the eighteen emptinesses should be truly seen as the state of indivisibility between subject and object. By practicing the wisdom of the union of the two truths, all obscurations can be purified. Third, afflictions, knowable objects, and meditative absorption, free from the three obscurations, is self-awareness itself. The wisdom of suchness and the wisdom of all that exists are spoken of. Thus it is said, by practicing the yoga of union, the obscuration of afflictions such as attachment, the obscuration of knowable objects such as the conceptualization of the three spheres, and the obscuration of meditative absorption such as hindering samadhi, these three obscurations, together with their habitual tendencies, are eliminated, and the reality of the two truths is realized as it is, and each is realized by self-awareness, which is the wisdom of the Buddha. Among them, from the perspective of the object, there are two kinds of wisdom: the wisdom of knowing suchness (Sanskrit Devanagari: यथाभूतज्ञान, Sanskrit Romanization: yathābhūtajñāna, Chinese literal meaning: wisdom of suchness) and the wisdom of knowing all that exists (Sanskrit Devanagari: यावत्संख्याज्ञान, Sanskrit Romanization: yāvatsaṃkhyājñāna, Chinese literal meaning: wisdom of all that exists). Fifth, where this treatise is obtained from, is divided into three points: how it is collected, its source, and showing that it is not self-created. The first point: Therefore, in the Vajrayana, in order to realize the reality that is spoken of, here only a part is briefly collected. Thus it is said, the reason and necessity for creating such a treatise have been said a lot above. Therefore, in order for later fortunate ones to realize the profound reality of the three bases, paths, and fruits spoken of in the secret mantra Vajrayana, this treatise collects the profound and important parts of the meaning of these words, and if you want to elaborate on it, it is known to be infinite. Second point: Although there are immeasurable extensive explanations

Therefore, it is said (in the scripture): "Princes, you should consult the tantra commentaries of the teachings, for they are the gateway to entering everything." Although such principles have been extensively taught, due to concerns about excessive verbiage here, I urge those with insatiable learning and vast wisdom to examine all the tantras, as well as the commentaries extensively explained by the sons of the Buddhas, the three lords of the family (Avalokiteśvara, Mañjuśrī, Vajrapāṇi), and Nāgārjuna, etc., and to observe them with discernment. These tantra commentaries are profound and subtle in their words and meanings, making them difficult for those with shallow wisdom and limited learning to comprehend. Therefore, to facilitate the consultation of these commentaries, a guide like this book is necessary. The composition of this book serves as a gateway to entering all those reliable tantra commentaries, through the practice of hearing, contemplating, and meditating. The third (part) is the explanation of the profound inner meaning: 'This is not self-created, but written according to the words spoken by the all-knowing, the Bhagavan, the Victorious One. Relying on the power of the detailed explanations of the Lord of Secrets and the wise, the non-inverted inner meaning of the Vajrayana has been attained.' Thus it is said. This treatise explaining the profound inner meaning does not have the fault of being self-created. Because it is written as it is, according to the sutras and tantras spoken by the Buddha, the Bhagavan, the Victorious One who knows the reality of all dharmas as they are and as many as they are, without error, and who has conquered the four maras. If that is the case, aren't the tantras spoken by the Victorious One, which are contained within the six extremes and four modes, very difficult to understand? Therefore, one might think, then let's not explain them. Although that is the case, relying on the secret lords of the body, speech, and mind of all Buddhas, the bodhisattvas who have the authority to compile the teachings, the three lords of the family, as well as Saraha and Nāgārjuna and his son, etc., who are wise and accomplished, having seen the suchness of the Vajrayana, and having entered into numerous detailed explanations with discernment, thereby seeing with the eye of wisdom, and without inverting even a little the profound inner meaning of the Vajrayana, clearly expressing the essence and implications of the meaning with words, and having truly obtained the secret of the meaning as it is, therefore, there is no fear in speaking.
