Afterwards, arise the mind of detachment from desire, hatred, craving for pleasure, self-attachment, stinginess, and jealousy. All unwholesome actions are generated, and by this, all the lower realms are created. It is said. The aforementioned samsara is also merely an illusion of confusion due to not recognizing the self-nature of co-emergent joy and wisdom. It is not established by its own nature. What is not recognized? Due to the impurity of dualistic clinging not being purified, sentient beings who are confused about objects and subjects as being different do not recognize. What is not recognized? The great co-emergent bliss that has the nature of an instant is not recognized. How is it not recognized? It is not recognized in the manner of not knowing that it abides within oneself, but grasping it as something other than oneself, and constantly thinking about objects. Thus, due to not recognizing, the great bliss, the mind of enlightenment, is diminished, and all three poisons are generated. Due to their power, one appears to revolve and wander in samsara against one's will. The reason why the leaking bliss is said to be the root of samsara in the Kalachakra and others is also because, due to not recognizing the wisdom of co-emergent joy, the three poisons are generated and one revolves in samsara. This is the only reason. In the first chapter, it is said, "That itself does not recognize itself." And here, it is said, "Because the great bliss of an instant is not known." The meaning is the same. Therefore, in common Dharma language, the root of samsara is said to be ignorance. If one explains it as not recognizing one's own nature with the wisdom of individual self-awareness, then it is consistent with this meaning. Thus, due to not recognizing the co-emergent wisdom, the three poisons are generated along with leakage, and the manner of samsara is also that the first of desire is accompanied by joy, which is desire. In the middle, one experiences the wisdom of co-emergent joy, but because one does not realize it, it turns into ignorance. Afterwards, because the elements decline, one is detached from desire and turns into a mind of hatred. From this, one again desires pleasure, so one clings to one's own pleasure, and stinginess that one cannot give it to others, and jealousy that one does not want others to be happy, etc., generate all afflictions, and one completely practices the paths of unwholesome actions, which throws and creates all the lower realms, etc. Thirdly, the order of going beyond sorrow has two aspects: the order of the path of the causal vehicle and the vehicle of the result. The first has three: birth.

These are the stages of the path for small, medium, and great individuals. Firstly, turning away slightly from that (evil paths), generating the desire to benefit oneself and others, abandoning miserliness, jealousy, attachment, etc., possessing generosity, abandoning anger, possessing discipline, desiring happiness and being born in the higher realms, cutting off attachment to sensual pleasures, seeking the bliss of meditation, and attaining the states of form and formlessness. Experiencing that also as before, one is controlled by the three poisons due to attachment and wanders in samsara. It is said, "Turning away slightly from engaging in non-virtuous deeds, which are the cause of wandering in samsara due to impure karma, with the intention of benefiting oneself and others, abandoning and relinquishing faults such as miserliness, jealousy, and attachment, and as their antidote, possessing the giving of material generosity, abandoning anger, i.e., protecting the ten virtues by abandoning harming others, turning away from one's own undisciplined mind, maintaining discipline, and possessing the cultivation of patience towards harm, desiring the happiness of the happy migrations of the desire realm, one will attain the status of gods and humans, etc., of the higher realms of the desire realm. This is the cause and effect of meritorious actions. Cutting off the craving of attachment to desire, seeking the bliss of meditation and the formless realms, and by meditating on their pure samadhi, one will take birth in the sixteen realms of form and the four realms of formlessness, each according to their respective causes. This is the cause and effect of unwavering actions. Even having escaped from the lower realms and attained the higher realms, that too will become suffering in samsara. As previously stated, due to attachment and clinging to the happiness of sensual pleasures, the three poisons arise. Having tasted the flavor of meditation, due to possessing attachment, one is controlled by the increase of the three poisons, and like a bucket on a water wheel, one wanders in samsara and suffers. This is the cause and effect of non-meritorious actions, and incidentally, it points out the faults of samsara. Secondly, knowing the three realms in the mind, destroying attachment, etc., with the paths of seeing and meditation, attaining the cessation of suffering, and abiding there, one is called a Hearer or Solitary Realizer. It is said, "Thus, knowing that the defilements in the three realms are the self-manifestation of the mind's delusion, with the wisdom that realizes selflessness, destroying the imputed objects to be abandoned on the inferior path, such as attachment, etc., which are the cause of the three realms, with the path of seeing, and destroying the co-emergent objects to be abandoned with the path of meditation, due to craving the one-sided peace of nirvana, when that nirvana is attained,
