Then, all the teachings are revealed. It is said that the realm of sentient beings, endowed with the two purities of original purity and temporal purity, is the self-born wisdom of the Tathagatagarbha. Its essence is without the defilement of the illusion of the eight consciousnesses, and it possesses the union of the ultimate truth, which is pure by nature, and the conventional truth, which is the self-light of its wisdom. That is, in the condensed collection of the Guhyasamaja explanatory tantra, "Wisdom Vajra," it is said: The meaning of the two truths is as follows: the conventional truth and the ultimate truth. Son of the lineage, the conventional is the stable and the moving. Its truth is like the moon in water. The ultimate truth is the eighteen great emptinesses. Its limit is the place. As it is said, the conventional is the appearance of grasping and being grasped, which, although non-existent in reality, is completely imputed by conceptual thought, such as the appearance of the environment and beings. The truth is that although it appears, it has no self-nature, like the moon in water, so it is only the truth in the face of a deluded mind. The ultimate is the emptiness of inherent existence, which is explained as the eighteen aspects of emptiness, such as inner emptiness. The truth refers to the self-born wisdom that is without the duality of grasping and being grasped, because it is the object of self-knowing wisdom, so it also exists in the ultimate. Relying on this kind of inseparability of the union of the two truths, the view generated by the correct realization that individually understands that state will be directly realized without error. The antidote wisdom that realizes or generates in this way is the means to purify the conceptual thoughts of grasping and being grasped, which is also explained in the tantras, yoga practices, and Madhyamaka treatises. Because the base to be purified, what is to be purified, the purifier, and the result of purification are equal in number. Just as the number of the base to be purified is, all the dharmas, including what is to be purified, the purifier, and the result of purification, are the same, which is shown in many tantras, and it is said that the way to purify defilements in this way is reasonable. Moreover, in the Vajrayana, generating the antidote knowledge that is in accordance with the wisdom of the true result is the cause of the arising of the true view, and the pure Buddha-dharma, etc., are without difference.

Therefore, it is called making the fruit into the path. All phenomena encompassed by the two truths, purified as the nature of the deity, mantra, and great bliss, are the object to be purified. The wisdom that realizes the ultimate truth, arising from conceptualization of the conventional truth, is said to be the purifier. Thus, the two truths are connected as means and what arises from means. As Nagarjuna said, "Without relying on the conventional truth, the ultimate truth cannot be taught. Without relying on the ultimate truth, nirvana cannot be attained." It is also like this: the appearance of the conventional is like a means, accumulating merit increases the power of wisdom. By placing the wisdom in equipoise with the accumulation of wisdom that accords with the ultimate truth of reality, meditative wisdom arises, and merit can also be further increased. For example, in a dream, knowing that the dream has no inherent nature, one can transform it. Second, abandoning mistaken wrong views due to not understanding this principle is divided into two: outsiders and the lower vehicle. The first is: all schools of Brahma and others are knowable things made by conceptualization. Holding onto causes, conditions, existence, non-existence, etc., various views are said to arise based on the grasping and the grasped of body and mind. It is said that all the tenets of the Tirthikas, Brahma, etc., including the pervading, the powerful, the divine guru Purbapa, the Rahmana, the Samkhya, and the naked ones, are false knowable things fabricated and made by mere conceptualization. Therefore, the methods of refuting these are extensively explained in the treatises on epistemology. Therefore, the Samkhyas who hold onto the relationship of having causes and conditions and aggregation fall into the extreme of permanence, and the Lokayatas who hold onto the absence of past and future lives fall into the extreme of annihilation. In short, all sixty-two wrong views of the Tirthikas are included in these two extremes of permanence and annihilation. Thus, all kinds of wrong views arise based on the grasping and the grasped of body and mind, as the Bhagavan said in the Brahma Net Sutra, and the wrong view of mistakenly clinging to self is bodhicitta.
