Regarding the instructions on Inner Heat Tummo and Fierce Wind, because there are eighteen types of physical training illusory wheels, it is known as the Eighteen Tummo Practices, the numbers of which are: Eliminating wind disorders; Four illusory wheels for binding body and mind and abiding; Two illusory wheels for bestowing bliss and warmth; Two illusory wheels for eliminating dullness and agitation; One illusory wheel for sleeping; Two illusory wheels for walking; Four illusory wheels for guiding bliss and warmth to body and mind; Two illusory wheels for the key points of eliminating obstacles, totaling eighteen. Among them, the first illusory wheel for eliminating wind disorders is: The body's key point is the legs in the vajra posture. The hands are crossed with the left outside and the right inside, pressing the fine pulse with the thumbs. The fingers are curled into fists and placed on the soles of the feet. First, raise the right hand, clamp the armpit, extend forward, rotate the fingers, and straighten the elbow. Block the right nostril with a finger, inhale, hold, and exhale three times or once from the left nostril. Clamping the armpit and extending forward, place the left hand behind on the sole of the left foot. Then, with the left hand, block the left nostril as before and exhale from the right nostril. Then, without crossing the two fists, place them on the knees on your own side and exhale from both nostrils as before. Among these, first slowly, then gradually increase, and finally increase fiercely, combining with the ocean and Mount Meru to exhale. The visualization at that time is: Visualize that all the sins, obscurations, diseases, and demonic influences accumulated from beginningless time, as well as all bad habits, are like dust carried away by the wind, empty and pure. Then there are four illusory wheels of abiding, the first of which is the illusory wheel of Samatha vase breath, grasping the visualization: The key point of grasping the ten winds simultaneously is that the mind grasps the visualization. The key point of grasping the wind in the visualization is to master external grasping. The key point of not increasing the power of water and wind is to tighten the body and protrude the muscles. The key point of quickly generating bliss and warmth is to grasp the key point of eliminating downward flow. The key point of obstacles and harms naturally dissolving is to perform the illusory wheel of the body. As it is said, the body's key point possesses the Dharma of Vairochana, therefore, immediately after eliminating the above wind, place the fists upward on the root of the thighs, slowly inhale through both nostrils, suppress the upper wind, slightly lift the lower wind, and with the characteristic of the wind's mouth joining, fill the area below the navel. The key point of visualization is: One's own body is the body of the deity and the coemergent consort.

Ah. Meditate on it becoming clearer and brighter, like sunlight shining on a red tent. The second sitting posture wheel is the six-branched fire stove: body posture, holding the breath, undoing the vajra posture, squatting with the right leg outside and the left leg inside, crossed. The two hands are also the same, with the right hand outside and the left hand inside, crossed, with the elbows placed on the knees. Join the two palms together as if grasping the back of the arms, push the breath down below the navel, and hold the vase breath as much as possible until the visualization is clear. The key to the visualization is: below the navel, visualize the nature of the inner heat, flickering light, like lightning, through the practice of the breath, producing the hot touch of fire, hot and rough, completely burning the ordinary body and mind. Meditate on unbearable bliss and warmth arising in the body of light. This is the key to quickly generating warmth. The third sitting posture wheel is the wheel of intertwined trees: the body posture is the same as before, squatting with the knees of the crossed legs together. Grasp the crossed wrists, without going under the knees or placing them on top. Instead, just before touching the knees, circle around the tips of the knees and hold the vase breath. For this posture, first inhale the lower breath and push it to the navel. Then slowly inhale the upper breath, press down and fill it. The key to the visualization is: in the pure navel below, visualize the nature of the clear light of the inner heat, in the center of a blue light point the size of a mustard seed. Visualize that unbearable subtle light, burning like a candle, able to burn all of samsara and nirvana with its own power without needing to touch it. This immediately pacifies water-wind disorders and cold diseases. The fourth sitting posture wheel is the wheel of the three bodies intertwined: the body posture is squatting, with the left ankle on top and the sole of the right foot pressing on top, the buttocks not touching the cushion, and the body posture kept straight. Cross the two hands in front of the knees, grasp the arms, and hold the vase breath. The key to the visualization is the spreading of the inner heat fire of the Gathering Sutra: because the navel chakra is full, the flame touches the nature of the blue emanation body (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Hum) in the heart, producing unbearable bliss and warmth. The power of the fire increases, and the flame touches the throat.
