I, the Gelugpa tradition generally completes recitations by spontaneously reciting the supplementary mantra. To pacify excesses and deficiencies, it is sufficient to do whatever peaceful fire puja one can. Regarding the fire puja of one-tenth of the practice, it is said that for the sake of divine power, the fire puja of power requires one-tenth of the substances and mantras, which is stated with many citations from Indian treatises. Most others agree on performing the fire puja of one-tenth of the practice. However, in terms of counting methods, some methods of the Ngor tradition in the middle, and most others, count with sesame mantras. Therefore, in four hundred thousand recitations of practice, they perform forty thousand sesame mantras for the peaceful fire puja. The Ngorpas, in addition to that, also do a little of the other three each day. The Kar and Tsar traditions count with the supplementary deity mantra. Moreover, in our own tradition, it is considered sufficient to only use the supplementary peaceful fire puja, and when the individual substances are properly offered, the counting is done by adding three syllables to the practice mantra. The substances to be burned are also gathered together and offered. For deities like Hevajra, because it is not possible to complete a large number of root mantras, one does one's best to recite about seven or three times. And one should know that it is necessary to accumulate a sufficient number of "Deva Pitsu." After the fire puja is completed, one takes self-initiation again for about three days. In order to give thanks, one relies on the general invocation of oath-bound protectors, and especially on the elaborate Torma ritual of Dusolma, and does one's best to perform fulfillment and offerings of a hundred offerings, etc. And one holds a grand Dakini Torma and a grand Tsogkhorlo (feast gathering), and concludes with very auspicious aspirations and prayers. The offering of Torma begins with the preliminary Torma, etc. For the purpose of protection, one invites the white-sided protectors who reside outside, and the Four Great Kings, etc., and also compiles a list. One meets with each family member who keeps their vows purely, without strict isolation, and protects the residence for several days. During the time of leisurely dwelling, one meditates on the completion stage as much as possible, gradually relaxing and liberating. For the deity whose practice has been completed, from then on, whether extensive or concise, one should recite a hundred times, etc., and make an effort to continuously maintain it without ever breaking it. For a yidam that one is very fond of, one should not consider it sufficient to practice it only once, but should repeat the practice. The more one repeats it, the closer one gets to accomplishment, and if one repeats it seven times, one will have good fortune.

It is also said that even those who are unqualified can achieve it. The third root, stating the quantity and result, is divided into two: stating the quantity of approach and stating the result of accomplishment. The first is divided into three: signs, quantity, and duration. The first is: From the Vajra Tent, it says, "Reciting the rosary of mantras, meditating on my form, if in the manner of illusion, or even in a dream, one sees, from the force of great familiarity, one will directly see." Also, Manjushri Mitra said, "Also, meditating and reciting with one-pointed mind, upon that, all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the three times gather and descend, showing all the doors of Dharma, and also showing the form." Therefore, as it is said, until one sees the face of the deity or receives a prophecy in a dream, etc., it is the ritual of approaching the Sugatas. As it is said, the best is direct perception, the intermediate is experience, the lowest is seeing the yidam deity and the lama in a dream, receiving blessings, placing the vajra bell and vajra in the sky, etc., obtaining special abilities, the body being comfortable, speech having power, the mind giving rise to samadhi, etc., which are extensively explained in the scriptures. However, these have two types: real and apparent. What is the apparent? The gods of the demonic class, as a sign of interruption, such signs appear, and temporarily the practitioner develops clairvoyance and subtle abilities, etc., with or without cause, merit arises, and enjoyment, etc., increases, and ultimately the experience of samadhi naturally disappears, deceived by the eight worldly dharmas, becoming a place of lamentation. Therefore, if subtle signs of the apparent appear, do not cling to them, but abide in equanimity, so that one can go on the path. Also, entering the profound path of attaining Buddhahood in one lifetime, because the dark side cannot bear it, actually diseases, enemies, lawsuits, insults, etc., appear, or in the experience of dreams, various bad omens representing death appear, one must recognize that it is the manifestation of sins and obscurations, do not be afraid to cry, but abide in equanimity, and strive single-mindedly in practice, one will surely conquer the battlefield of obstacles, and bad conditions will surely turn into the guide of accomplishments.
