Five grains: barley, wheat, white sesame, rice, soybeans, plus peas and lentils, making five grains in total. Gold, silver, indranila (sapphire), ruby, pearl, these are the five precious gems. Or: gold, silver, copper, iron, meteoric iron, these are the five precious metals. Camphor, lychee, nutmeg, saffron, sandalwood, these are the five fragrances. Honey, brown sugar, salt, butter, arura (Terminalia chebula), these are the five essences. Thus, these twenty-five items are placed in a container, mixed with nectar pills, filled with pure water, bound with a five-colored neck cord, adorned with wooden ornaments, and placed on a throne in the center of the mandala. Then, in sequence, prepare a skull with auspicious markings, red silk, and a flawless copper mirror made by a blacksmith born in the year of the Dragon, in the month of the Dragon, on the day of the Dragon, completed in one day. It is best if a virgin, undefiled by worldly affairs, can be found and her body heat retained for a few days. If not, first purify the inside of the clean mirror with hand-mudra offerings, then purify the outside, and place it on the lap. On each surface, draw and generate the mandala of space above, and request blessings. Apply a mixture of Sri Lankan spices, saffron, and nectar, etc., inside the skull, on the surface of the red silk, and on the inner surface of the mirror. Draw circles, dharma sources, lotuses, and five seed syllables with six joyful swirls. On the outer surface of the mirror, apply the substances of the hand-mudra offering. Whether it is Indian or Tibetan cinnabar, spread it or cover it with silk, draw circles, etc., as before, and at the end of "hrīḥ" (Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Chinese literal meaning: heart), write counterclockwise: om vajra vairocaniye hari nisa ri nisa ha ni ri ha sa sa ni ri ha akarshaya hrīḥ jah (Tibetan: ༀ་བཛྲ་བཻ་རོ་ཙ་ནཱི་ཡཻ་ཧ་རི་ནི་ས་རི་ནི་ས་ཧ་ནི་རི་ཧ་ས་ས་ནི་རི་ཧ་ཨ་ཀཪྵ་ཡ་ཧྲཱིཿཛཿ). Dissolve each into the mandala of space, and place them between the ornaments of the vase, or on a larger throne, filling the skull with nectar pills, or, if practicing medicine, any of the eighty-four thousand medicines that can be found, except for laxatives and poisons. Fill with powder or pills mixed with the blessings of the previous lamas, cover with red silk, and place the mirror on top. Thus, the earth mandala, vase, skull, red silk, dakini attractant, and cinnabar, these six mandalas are stacked from the southwest facing east. Above, erect a red silk tent, and surround it with offerings and various meat tormas. This red silk is the mandala.

There are also those who do not do it. Generally, there are six levels of accumulation during practice. At the time of empowerment, there are five levels, excluding the Dakini Empowerment Gathering. For auspicious offerings, etc., colored powders, skulls, and sindhura are sufficient in three levels. After arranging in this way, the way to sit is: "Having sat on a comfortable seat, face the direction of Oddiyana." Therefore, the yogi sits comfortably on a mat, facing the mandala. The hand offerings, vajra, bell, and damaru are distributed sequentially from the left. Fourth, the actual practice has three parts: self-generation, front-generation, and the ritual of dissolving the mandala. The first has two parts: meditative equipoise and subsequent attainment. The first also has two parts: preliminary accumulation and the main practice of visualization and recitation. The first is: "With the preliminary Bodhicitta generation, please the mandala ritual. Gather yourself with the three syllables." Therefore, first, place the nectar pill or the drop of the hand offering on the tongue to taste the nectar. Perform the preliminary offering of the torma, meditate on the protective wheel, set the boundary, bless the offerings, the guru and yogini are inseparable as the Buddha, its essence and so on are the Dharma, the retinue of dakinis are the Sangha, take refuge in the Three Jewels. Meditate on generating the mind. Then, on the lotus moon on the crown of the head, from Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) arises Vajrasattva Heruka, with a white body. The right hand holds a vajra at the heart, and the left hand holds a bell, leaning against the waist in a graceful posture, adorned with silk, bone ornaments, and jewels. The feet are seated in the bodhisattva posture, embracing the consort Vajra Krodheshvari, white, holding a curved knife and skull cup. At the three places of both, there are three syllables, especially at the heart of the father, on the moon, there is the syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), surrounded by the white hundred-syllable mantra. From this, light radiates and the wisdom being is absorbed. Again, with light, the empowerment deity is invited. Empowerment, the body is filled with nectar, impurities are cleansed, and the remaining water forms Akshobhya as a crown ornament on the head. Pray: "Please, Bhagavan, purify all my sins, obscurations, faults, and transgressions." With the four powers, focus on the seed syllable mantra garland at the heart and recite the hundred-syllable mantra. By reciting the hundred-syllable mantra, nectar descends, filling the body of Vajrasattva. It flows from the union and enters from the crown of one's own head,
