The nature of craving in the throat is Hrīḥ. The nature of ignorance at the crown of the head is the syllable Oṃ. These must be burned. By melting the syllable Haṃ, which is the nature of skillful means, one experiences the wisdom of unchanging, coemergent bliss through the path of burning and melting. This is the unchanging vajra incense. Therefore, it should be offered to the Bhagavan, the vajra nature of the hearts of all the Victorious Ones. Third is the lamp: Meditating very clearly on the mantra syllables, the yellow Bya from the jewel-like orifice that arises purely from the vajra syllable Hūṃ of the father of skillful means, and the red Gya syllable, blazing with light, in the palace of the mother of wisdom, one blocks the doors of ordinary faculties. By experiencing the unchanging, coemergent bliss in a non-conceptual manner, and relying on the wisdom of the indicative example, the lamp of the definitive meaning of clear light blazes without interruption. This is the clear light of pure great bliss. Therefore, it should be offered to the Bhagavan's heart vajra. As it appears in the Empowerment of Śrī. Fourth is the scented water: In the lotus of the mother of wisdom, which abides in the ground of self-arisen, coemergent great bliss, the bodhicitta of skillful means, the Kunda, is caused to descend, and bliss is awakened. Then, drawing it upwards again through the vajra path, by the yoga of dropping and reversing the bindu alone, the unique qualities of application, which have caused the bodhicitta to spread to all the root places, should also be offered to the heart vajra, the glorious Wheel of Supreme Bliss. Fifth is the food: Here, whatever of the five desirable qualities of the senses one enjoys, one relies purely on all five of one's own causal faculties. Therefore, all that becomes the object of enjoyment for these should also be properly arranged in food vessels and offered to the Bhagavan, the heart vajra. Sixth is the offering of sound: The appearance of the deity as the father and mother is the thought of the deity. Knowing the two secret places, the lotus and the vajra, to be complete with mantra syllables is the thought of mantra. Thinking, "By this means, I shall accomplish the wisdom of great bliss," is the thought of dharma. Without separating from these three thoughts, the offering of the indestructible, uncontaminated bliss of sound of the yogi, which arises from the stages such as the vajra and lotus being truly joined and entering into equipoise, should also be offered to the Bhagavan's heart vajra.

Then, all sixteen external offering goddesses have only one face and four arms. Their respective colors and hand gestures are clearly stated in the scriptures, so there is no need to elaborate. The offering mantras are also in order: Vajra Vini (Tibetan: བཛྲ་བཱི་ནི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्र वीणि, Sanskrit Romanization: vajra vīṇi, literal Chinese meaning: Diamond Lute Woman), similarly, Vamshe (Tibetan: ཝཾ་ཤེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वंशे, Sanskrit Romanization: vaṃśe, literal Chinese meaning: Flute Woman), Mridange (Tibetan: མྲྀ་དཾ་གེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: मृदंगे, Sanskrit Romanization: mṛdaṃge, literal Chinese meaning: Round Drum Woman), Muraje (Tibetan: མུ་ར་ཛེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: मुरजे, Sanskrit Romanization: muraje, literal Chinese meaning: Cymbal Woman), Hasye (Tibetan: ཧ་སྱེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: हस्ये, Sanskrit Romanization: hasye, literal Chinese meaning: Laughter Woman), Lasye (Tibetan: ལཱ་སྱེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: लास्ये, Sanskrit Romanization: lāsye, literal Chinese meaning: Charming Woman), Gite (Tibetan: གཱི་ཏེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: गीते, Sanskrit Romanization: gīte, literal Chinese meaning: Song Woman), Nritye (Tibetan: ནྲྀ་ཏྱེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: नृत्ये, Sanskrit Romanization: nṛtye, literal Chinese meaning: Dance Woman), Pushpe (Tibetan: པུཥྤེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: पुष्पे, Sanskrit Romanization: puṣpe, literal Chinese meaning: Flower Woman), Dhupe (Tibetan: དྷཱུ་པེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: धूपे, Sanskrit Romanization: dhūpe, literal Chinese meaning: Incense Woman), Depe (Tibetan: དཱི་པེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: दीपे, Sanskrit Romanization: dīpe, literal Chinese meaning: Lamp Woman), Gandhe (Tibetan: གནྡྷེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: गंधे, Sanskrit Romanization: gaṃdhe, literal Chinese meaning: Perfume Woman), the meaning of changing all the vowel endings of these to Er is to give Si for the sake of the Tibetans. Hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं हुं फट्, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ, literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ) are related to the words of aspiration, transmission, and urging in this context, so it is extremely praising the Vajra Lute Woman, please offer, and the same applies to all the external offerings. Rūpa Vajrī (Tibetan: རཱུ་པ་བཛྲཱི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: रूप वज्री, Sanskrit Romanization: rūpa vajrī, literal Chinese meaning: Form Vajra Woman), similarly, Rasa (Tibetan: ར་ས་, Sanskrit Devanagari: रस, Sanskrit Romanization: rasa, literal Chinese meaning: Taste), Sparśa (Tibetan: སྤཪྴེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्पर्श, Sanskrit Romanization: sparśa, literal Chinese meaning: Touch), Dharma Dhātu (Tibetan: དྷརྨ་དྷ་ཏུ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: धर्म धातु, Sanskrit Romanization: dharma dhātu, literal Chinese meaning: Dharma Realm) Vajra Mother, the reason why Vajrī appears at the end of these is because it is giving the cause and condition of Ānanda related to this, so it is to become a possessor of form Vajra, and the same applies to the latter three. Then, offering the five external sensual pleasures, the meaning of the words is easy to understand. The distinction of sounds is between "with sound" and "without sound," as it is said: Sounds are divided into with sound and without sound, divided into expressing and not expressing, divided into pleasant and unpleasant, five kinds of distinctions, there are eight kinds in total. With sound is the sound of sentient beings, and without sound is the sound of nature, both of these sounds are divided into expressing meaning and not expressing meaning, there are four kinds of distinctions. With sound is also divided into pleasant sounds such as teaching the Dharma, unpleasant sounds such as crying, pleasant sounds such as singing, and unpleasant sounds such as threatening. Similarly, without sound is also divided into pleasant sounds such as emanations teaching the Dharma, unpleasant sounds such as crying, pleasant sounds such as the sound of wind blowing bells, and unpleasant sounds such as rocks collapsing, there are eight kinds, but in the supreme occasion, the difference between the two sounds of with sound and without sound lies in the various pleasant and unpleasant sounds. The types of smells are also divided into fragrant and foul, among which there are innate smells such as camphor, completely transformed smells such as the smell of alcohol, and mixed smells such as the smell of burning incense. The difference in tastes is six kinds, namely sweet like sugar.
