Should be cut off. Such and so on. From the "Two Examinations": With what vows should one abide? The Blessed One declared: You should kill sentient beings, and also speak false words, you should also take what is not given, and consort with other women. Killing sentient beings with one mind, why is life said to be one mind? That which is called delivering the world, is greatly renowned as a false word. Without the semen of a chaste woman, other women are as beautiful as oneself. Thus it is said. Such statements made with veiled intentions are extensively explained in the great Sutra sections such as the Sutra Benefiting Angulimala. This samaya, which is explained with intentional language, is said to be given at the end of the seven empowerments for children entering the Wheel of Time. In other tantras, it is also said to be given at the end of the vase empowerment and at the end of the completion of empowerment. Lay devotees, novices, monks, etc., are mainly according to the system of the Wheel of Time. There, the seven empowerments for children entering each ground, that is, they obtain the seven grounds for a long time, and are called mantra lay devotees. Similarly, with the vase empowerment, the eighth ground, with the novice secret empowerment, the ninth ground, with the monk's third empowerment, the tenth ground, with the permanent worldly one's fourth, the eleventh, and the regent, that is, the second Vajrasattva, these are worldly empowerments. With the empowerment of the Great Lord, the twelfth is the Lord of Beings, that is, it is said to be beyond the world. One should also understand that at the end of the seven empowerments for children, the doorkeeper at the time of empowerment, and relying on the householder and the novice and monk of the Hearers, the latter three Vajra Holders also become older by the latter's training. Each of them also becomes older by empowerment according to the order of empowerment. Whoever obtains the one who does not transform into supreme wisdom, that one becomes older by wisdom, thus in the way of mantra, there are three kinds of elders. Generally, in the world, kings and others are older by lineage, the wealthy are older by wealth, those of the same lineage are older by age, and those who have great learning are older by learning or qualities, although there are said to be four kinds, in the Buddha's teachings, only those who are older by training and qualities,

Without further ado, in terms of qualities, the main thing in the way of mantra is the quality of realization alone. Those mantra holders who are ordained remain as ordinary beings, but if a householder Vajra holder has the direct perception of an Arya, then he will become the leader of the assembly. From the Key to Empowerment: "The vase empowerment is for a layperson. The secret empowerment is for a novice monk. Wisdom and knowledge are for a fully ordained monk. Complete perfection is for an Arhat." It is said that, in general, for the supreme empowerment, there is no explanation of the seven empowerments for children entering and the different empowerments of the past and the unpassed, so those should be established as the distinctions of laypersons and so on in this way. To the glorious Vajra master, one should be extremely respectful, and one should be able to distinguish well the supreme root downfalls, and the unerring oral instructions should be explained here. Fourth, the fourteen root downfalls. Among them, the fourteen root downfalls are: Do not despise the sublime guru, do not transgress the words of the Victorious Ones, do not be angry with Vajra brothers and sisters, do not abandon love for all sentient beings, do not abandon the mind of enlightenment, do not denigrate your own and others' tenets, do not proclaim secrets to the immature, do not despise the aggregates, elements, etc., abandon doubt about pure Dharma, do not always have love for the malicious, abandon imposing interpretations on the meaning beyond names, do not make faithful sentient beings weary, do not abandon vows that have been obtained, do not denigrate wisdom women. Relying on intense afflictions, here it is called transgressing the root downfall. That's what it says. There are two parts to explaining this: the general meaning and the individual meanings. First, the nature of the root downfall in this case is: the fault of violating the vows of the supreme mantra is extremely serious, and if one commits it, one will fall into the Vajra hell. The definition is: if one does not confess, one will fall into the Vajra hell, therefore it is a downfall. As it says in the Vinaya Sutra: "If one does not confess, one will be thrown into the lower realms, it is a downfall, therefore it is called a downfall." It's like explaining the meaning of the word. Since there is no heavier mantra downfall than this, it is called the root downfall. Just as in the Vinaya Sutra, the defeat of a monk is called the root. What is the Vajra hell? Jigten Sumgön said: The uninterrupted hell spoken of in the sutras and the Vajra hell of the mantras are the same, but symbolizing the place of the irreversible mantra,
