Moreover, even if the bhikshuni Good-born Woman traveled with five hundred women of ill repute, but did not take possession of them, there is no fault. If merely experiencing involuntarily with body and speech, but not accepting it in the mind, is also said to be without fault, then what need is there to mention if it is seized by the skillful wisdom like the illusion of Vajrayana? Because it is also repeatedly said in the scriptures that the power of mantras is inconceivable. However, this explanation is very secret and must be kept hidden, because if those who cannot keep the vows of the Shravaka vehicle, but use secret mantras as a fig leaf, hear it, it will be like feeding milk to a poisonous snake. Therefore, the way to be liberated from the vows of the Shravaka vehicle is like that. Similarly, receiving empowerment from colored powder mandalas, etc., is not something to be done intentionally, because siddhis do not arise from deities in molds and painted images. As it is said in the Vajra Dakini Tantra: "Those yogis without that mind, who focus on the deity, all are images of the mind, molds and such are not the birthplace of yoga. Oneself is all the Buddhas, and all the heroes are like that." And this lineage believes that the ripening empowerment, the path of liberation, the vows to be protected, and the fruit to be obtained are mixed, that is, they are considered to have four mixtures, because they realize that appearance and existence are the mandala, so they are liberated from the empowerment of a session of meditation. Sleep, which is defiled by the veil of ignorance and has become a proximate affliction, should be abandoned, because the yogi is afflicted by great delusion, so he will surely be able to abandon it. It is also said in the Secret Accomplishment: "Having abandoned the act of stretching out the legs, having abandoned the acts of samsara, always with a diligent mind, one should accomplish the supreme Vajra Mind. Regret and sleep, and drowsiness, etc., one should strive to abandon. Otherwise, even for hundreds of millions of kalpas, one will not be able to accomplish it." So, is even the term sleep not allowed? It is not so, because sleep that has been blessed as thick luminosity and dream illusory body should not be abandoned, because it is the excellence of yoga. If it is said that what is seized by yoga is not sleep, then it is not the nature of the sleep of samsara.

Oh. There is no contradiction in merely establishing the name of sleep, because it first enters in the form of sleep, and when other beings see it, they do not know anything other than thinking that they are asleep, and it is also said that they fall asleep in the clear light. Therefore, "I have abandoned sleep," and "Sleep should not be abandoned," are not contradictory in this way, because considering the latter, the venerable Naropa said, "Sleep is ignorance, and ignorance is Samantabhadra. Whatever Samantabhadra is determined to be the mind of enlightenment, that should not be completely abandoned." In short, the nature of all internal and external dharmas indicated by the name of things is the realization of knowing that suchness is the place of the pacification of elaboration, and only by that should one enter by discriminating everything, not by entering with the bondage of dualistic grasping. So, do you only do the activities of the generation and completion stages of mantra? "Fire offerings, offerings, asceticism are surpassed," and so on, that is, surpassing the fire offering of burning implements, and the offering of divine empowerment, and asceticism such as fasting. Those are shown for the sake of Brahmins and others who are attached to liberation by fire, offerings, and asceticism, and for the sake of some beginners to accumulate merit and weaken obscurations, but those are not able to completely liberate. Counting rosaries and reciting mantras with the tongue, and also the generation and completion stage meditation with what is to be meditated on and what meditates are also completely abandoned, because knowing that all collections of sounds and the entry of language are spontaneously accomplished as the great Vajra mantra of Āli Kāli, so it is returning from clinging to letters and so on as mantras with a certain number of letters. And, the effort of meditating with what, with whom, where, and how, is like not recognizing a dream in a dream, and striving to be liberated from the river of dreams, seeing that birds cannot transcend the sky, and fish swimming in the sea cannot transcend the water, knowing that no matter what kind of discrimination, it is impossible to transcend the suchness of the dharmadhatu, so it is returning from the meditation of clinging to the three spheres. Similarly, vows that are diligently not transgressed for fear of deterioration, and clinging to the characteristics of what is to be abandoned and what is to be relied upon.
