On the day, the seed syllable vaṃ (藏文:བཾ,梵文天城体:वं,梵文罗马拟音:vam,汉语字面意思:വം) and the mantra: Sarva Buddha Ḍākinīye (藏文:སརྦ་བུདྡྷ་ཌཱ་ཀི་ནཱི་ཡེ,梵文天城体:सर्व बुद्ध डाकिनीय,梵文罗马拟音:sarva buddha ḍākinīye,汉语字面意思:All Buddha Dakinis), Vajra Varmaṇi Yai (藏文:བཛྲ་ཝཱརྨ་ནི་ཡཻ,梵文天城体:वज्र वर्मणि यै,梵文罗马拟音:vajra varmaṇi yai,汉语字面意思:Vajra Armor), Vajra Vairocāni Ye (藏文:བཛྲ་བཻ་རོ་ཙཱ་ནི་ཡེ,梵文天城体:वज्र वैरोचानि ये,梵文罗马拟音:vajra vairocāni ye,汉语字面意思:Vajra Vairocana), Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हूं हूं हूं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ hūṃ hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ), Phaṭ Phaṭ Phaṭ Svāhā (藏文:ཕཊ་ཕཊ་ཕཊ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ,梵文天城体:फट् फट् फट् स्वाहा,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ phaṭ phaṭ svāhā,汉语字面意思:Phaṭ Phaṭ Phaṭ Svāhā). Reciting these three sentences and the essence abandoned by Hari Nisa, making a slight offering of praise and torma, is the generation of vaṃ, which is the name of the outer practice made by the glorious Sky Goer. Here, there are three sentences, three hūṃs, and three phaṭs, with various letters that are made and not made, but this is from the Indian scriptures of Abhijugata's two faces, extracted from the ocean of vows, which is the mandala of Dharmodaya, with the collection of mantras of forty-nine squares, so this alone should be taken as the standard. At this time, the seed syllable is not the va of the labial group, because the Ocean of Sky Goers says: "The seed syllable at the end of the ya group is the nature of supreme enlightenment." Also, the Manifest Enlightenment says that it is vaṃ, so a dot is given to the letter va of ya, ra, la, va. Generally, in terms of letter forms, the third letter ba of the labial group and the fourth letter va of the ya group have the same form in Lantsa and others, and because Indians pronounce whichever is convenient, there is no contradiction whether it is pronounced vaṃ or vaṃ. The actual secret mantra spoken from the text is after the essence of Hari Nisa, followed by Ri Ni Sa Ha, Ni Ri Ha Sa, Sa Ni Ri Ha, like this, inserting the seed syllable of the transferred main deity, and finally adding Ākarṣaya Hrīḥ Jaḥ (藏文:ཨཱ་ཀཪྵ་ཡ་ཧྲཱིཿཛཿ,梵文天城体:आकर्षय ह्रीः जः,梵文罗马拟音:ākarṣaya hrīḥ jaḥ,汉语字面意思:Attract Hrīḥ Jaḥ), the word for summoning. In this case, when transferring the main deity of the precious Sky Goer, most of the letters are Ni Ri Ha Sa, but the letters are corrupted, because the first two are clockwise and the last two are counterclockwise, so it should be pronounced Ri Ni Ha Sa. Generally, the collection of mantras of the eight-legged mother, etc., comes from the Hevajra tantra, but it is not mentioned here, so I will not elaborate. In the mental recitation, what is recited? It is the samadhi appropriate for the occasion. With what is it recited? It is with the memory of the wisdom of individual self-awareness, and for beginners, it is with the memory of concentrating the mind on one point. How is it recited? With that memory, not straying from the known samadhi, meditating single-pointedly without interruption, is given the name of recitation, recitation means repeating and circling, and meditation is only meditating on the continuation of the previous samadhi, so there is no difference at all.

在此处,对于初学者来说,表义符号的vajrayogini(金刚瑜伽母)是所缘的对境。

Therefore. That samadhi also has two types: with an object and without an object. As it says, "Relying on an object, it arises. Without an object, it increases even more. Relying on no object, it arises. Without an object, it increases even more." For most beginners, by meditating on the object of focus, the wisdom that focuses, and the aspects of what is focused on, knowledge turns away from scattering on objects and abides in a state where the object of focus and the aspects of focus are inseparable. By becoming accustomed to this state, manifest afflictions are suppressed, and the benefits of meditation are achieved. Gradually, the aspect of the wisdom that focuses becomes smaller and smaller, until eventually, the object of focus and the aspects of the subject and object disappear like a dream fading upon waking. The pacification of characteristics is called no object, which is the result of all objects. For those with sharp faculties, since the object of focus is not naturally present from the beginning, the wisdom that focuses is merely a fundamental delusion. In that case, how can one find the characteristics of how to focus, or the qualities of difference on a basis without difference? Therefore, directly pointing out the state of primordial cessation of elaboration, both shamatha and vipassana arise simultaneously, which is the practice of the Lord Maitripa. In this context, for beginners, the vajrayogini (金刚瑜伽母) of symbolic meaning is the object of focus. The gathering place of the three roots, etc., is the place of focus. Body, mantra, seed syllables, etc., are the aspects of focus. Unforgetting mindfulness is the knowledge that focuses. Possessing the three non-abidings is the way to focus properly. For those with sharp faculties, all objects and subjects are primordially pure from the beginning. This is merely called the name of vajrayogini (金刚瑜伽母) or co-emergent mother. Know that there is no dharma to be focused on anywhere. Object and no object are the characteristics of conceptual thought, the mutual dependence of futile delusion. Therefore, seeing its primordial purity, no dharma is found to be transformed or trained. This is also called no object because it is liberated from object and subject. From the perspective of making that very reality the object of direct perception, it is an object.
