It is taught by the boundless one that all the aggregates of Dharma arise from the meaning of the word evam (ཨེ་ཝཾ,एवं,evaṃ, thus), and therefore, in mandala offering rituals and so on, the inseparable union of evam (ཨེ་ཝཾ,एवं,evaṃ, thus) is described as the true and complete mandala. This Dharma also has it, because the letter e (ཨེ་,ए,e) is the source of Dharma, and the letter vam (ཝཾ,वं,vaṃ) is the abode of the perfect round lotus. Moreover, in each pore of the Dharma source, the letter vam (ཝཾ,वं,vaṃ) dwells, swirling with joy. In general, in Anuttarayoga, even if only colored powders are used, the square is the mandala that mainly shows the vase initiation, the round is the one that mainly shows the secret initiation, and the Dharma source is the one that mainly shows the third initiation. In reality, clinging to the colored powder mandala and the square, etc., is simply not understanding the reality of the mandala. To be meticulously attached, thinking, "This is a mandala, this is not a mandala," is simply a cause for incurring the root downfall of "On dharmas devoid of names, etc., to think of them as such is the eleventh." And in the relative truth, even hating the mere shape of the Dharma source is a cause for incurring a portion of the root downfall of "To revile the female who is the nature of wisdom is the fourteenth," because even in the lower tantras it is said, "Hand seals, mounts, weapons, and signs should not be disparaged." Since in Anuttarayoga all conceptualizations of signs must be prevented, criticizing the Dharma source mandala, etc., due to attachment, will also become criticizing the third initiation mandala. In general, the four establishments of mindfulness are explained as the square, the four right exertions as the four doors, and so on, as the purity of the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment. In the Tantra of Immaculate, it is said that the square appears as the center and fivefold due to the nature of the five wisdoms. These are not unique to the square, but can also be applied to the thirty-seven roots, the thirty-seven places, and the thirty-seven elements, etc., and the five wisdoms can also be represented by the five colors, etc. Just as in the Compendium of Principles, the vast family is condensed into the five families, then into the three families, and then into the one body of Vajradhara's family, similarly, all thirty-seven factors of enlightenment are also condensed into the nature of the three doors of liberation, the truth of ultimate reality, and therefore shown as the palace of the Dharma source.

And due to the dependent arising of various combined explanations, both internal and external, such as the fundamental knot of the Guhyasamaja Tantra residing as the Dharmodayā, it is said to be in the mandala of the Dharmodayā. The square shape and others are also merely explained due to the dependent arising of combined explanations. It is not that the deity's palace is built as a square and not as a triangle, or built as a triangle and not as a square; one should not be too insistent on this. Otherwise, there would be no difference between the wise and the foolish. Because within Buddhism, even the Vaibhashikas do not say that coarse shapes, etc., other than the self-characterized entity, are truly existent by their own character, then who, claiming to be an Anuttarayoga practitioner, would say such a thing? When bestowing higher and higher empowerments, the lower mandalas are shown as provisional meanings, and ultimately one must be established in the realization of the Mahamudra mandala of appearance and existence. Just as the sole Buddha appears in whatever way is necessary to tame those with attachment and without attachment, etc., similarly, a single mandala also appears in whatever way is necessary to tame. Nowadays, it is said that even when a child's teacher merely transmits to a child student, different perceptions of color arise, so what need is there to mention the realm of accomplishment! Furthermore, explaining the practice of instantaneous completion of the deity as a false dharma is also a statement of those who do not understand the words of those who are very proficient in the generation stage, other than the initial practitioners of the generation stage. In general, from whatever arises, whether it be the five clear realizations or the Vajra Ground, etc., ultimately, when arising as a deity, it arises all at once in the manner of a fish leaping from water. Who has seen a practitioner meditating on the stages of a deity having a head but no body, etc.? Those yogis who have gained mastery over the generation stage, like a magician who is very skilled at conjuring illusions, are able to emanate and gather numerous mandala wheels even in the short time it takes to spin a mustard seed. This is the most correct instantaneous completion. Furthermore, if the generation stage practices any of the three birth places, what reason is there not to practice miraculous birth? If that is established, then when practicing the four birth places separately, expelling from the womb is the practice for womb-born beings, and the arising of the five clear realizations is the practice for warmth and moisture-born beings.
