Great accomplished masters who can teach devoted disciples who practice single-mindedly without any deviation are as rare as stars in the daytime due to the force of the times. Since they are unable to actually practice such a path, they merely explain the meaning and the number of intentions, using devotion as the path, and meditating a little. Nowadays, there seem to be many practitioners like this, but they only meditate on the four wheels, the abodes of the three roots of mind, speech, and body, and the four kinds of activities, within the great emptiness, free from obscurations and hindrances, in the body of the Bhagavati, clearly and unobstructed. They can extensively explain the general and specific aspects of the stages of completion, and especially how they came from the lineage of the venerable Marpa, without being tainted by the conceptualizations of later times, but they do not reveal secrets during the stage of generation.
