It refers to the code indicating "meditate once." The king did not understand it and thought, "This person wants to deceive me with lies," so he imprisoned him in the dungeon. That yogi had many disciples with clairvoyance, and when they found out, they gathered at the gate of the king's palace and said, "We want to see the guru." (The gatekeeper) said, "Your guru has been killed by the king." They said, "Oh, then let him be killed." The king asked, "Do you know the method of immortality?" They said, "Yes." So they made a mandala of colored powders with five kinds of precious jewels and performed a grand ritual. The king was very pleased and thought, "These people are the most correct, the previous one was very false." So he developed faith and requested initiation. They also performed grand sequential entry rituals such as wearing hats, and finally indicated the previous code and explained its meaning, and the king understood and released the yogi from the dungeon. It is said that the king also practiced this method and attained accomplishment. Similarly, the endless "earth rituals" and so on mentioned in the scriptures are also like that. Examining the land, it also mentions the methods of examining the place, direction, shape, color, signs, designated marks, and using earth and water, but the meaning of its accomplishment lies in practicing in a suitable place, and there is no other intention. Regarding "raising the earth": It has already been said that the meaning is accomplished by the preliminary torma. Regarding "taking the earth" and "purifying": Although many rituals such as dances and postures are mentioned, the ultimate purpose is to take the earth with faith and purify and bless it with samadhi. Without these, no matter how many gestures of the body and tones of speech there are, they will only become a performance. Therefore, what is not included in the meaning of the earth ritual? From the ultimate meaning, it is to eliminate the characteristics of the grasping and the grasped in one's own mind and to purify the mind completely. This is merely to indicate it in the form of a ritual with symbolic meaning for those of dull faculties. The Vinaya-samuccaya says, "One's own mind is completely pure, that itself becomes the pure earth." Second, regarding setting up the seat: The oral instruction says, "In the center of that (mandala), make a round mandala, one cubit wide and four fingers high, and smear it with Ceylon incense, alcohol, and fragrant water." Therefore, when practicing, make a seat of that size facing east, and at other times, it can also be made according to the size and direction you want. This again

The center is slightly high, leaning slightly towards the east and north, smooth and sticky, smeared with materials to the size of a cowhide. In Vajra Dakini, it says: Draw the center high. Leaning towards the east and north is the cause for practitioners to attain accomplishments. A high center leads to obtaining kingship and the state of vidyadharas. A high north may lead to death or loss of wealth, or may be afflicted by disease. As it is said, a high east will quickly lead to the extinction of lineages. A low center is the nature of the earth, and the practitioner will be endowed with destruction. This is what it says. Third, the first of the six mandala arrangements, the colored powder mandala: According to the lineage's practice, except for the vase mandala, the sky mandala is done first for all five. Therefore, arrange the five offerings on the platform, and the yogi goes to the platform and sits facing west, cleansing the obstacles of the sky with nectar and action mantras. With Svabhava, visualize the spontaneously arisen dharmodaya of the left hand's tarjani mudra pointing upwards, take nectar from it, and starting from the brow, circle around the left side of the platform towards the right ear, in a circle the size of the mandala to be drawn. Within that circle, draw one side of the dharmodaya from the brow to the corner of the forehead near the right ear, then draw one side from the direction of the left ear, and then return to the original position to draw one side, first drawing the house-shaped dharmodaya. Then, below that, draw a straight line from the left ear to the right ear, then draw a straight line along the back of the previous dharmodaya, and then return to the original position, which is the direction of the left ear, to draw the seat-shaped dharmodaya. In the center of the crossed dharmodaya and the four-petaled lotus, recite "Om Vajra Vairochaniye Hari Nisa Hum Hum Phet Svaha (Tibetan: བཛྲ་བཻ་རོ་ཙ་ནཱི་ཡེ་ཧ་རི་ནི་ས་ྃཧཱུྃ་ཧཱུ་ཕཊ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रवैरोचनीयेहरिनिस, Sanskrit Romanization: vajra vairocaniye harinisa, Literal Chinese meaning: Vajra Vairochana Mother He Ri Ni Sa Hum Hum Phet Svaha)", touch it with alcohol, and visualize a red bindu. Similarly, in the same way, recite "Om Vajra Dakini Ye (Tibetan: བཛྲ་ཌཱ་ཀི་ནཱི་ཡེ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रडाकिनीये, Sanskrit Romanization: vajra ḍākinīye, Literal Chinese meaning: Vajra Dakini Ye)", "Om Ratna Dakini Ye (Tibetan: རཏྣ་ཌཱ་ཀི་ནཱི་ཡེ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: रत्नडाकिनीये, Sanskrit Romanization: ratna ḍākinīye, Literal Chinese meaning: Ratna Dakini Ye)", "Om Padma Dakini Ye (Tibetan: པདྨ་ཌཱ་ཀི་ནཱི་ཡེ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: पद्मडाकिनीये, Sanskrit Romanization: padma ḍākinīye, Literal Chinese meaning: Padma Dakini Ye)", "Om Karma Dakini Ye (Tibetan: ཀརྨ་ཌཱ་ནི་ནཱི་ཡེ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: कर्मदानिनीये, Sanskrit Romanization: karmadāninīye, Literal Chinese meaning: Karma Dakini Ye)", starting from the front, touching each direction, the east is a blue bindu, the south is yellow, the west is red, and the north is green. Again, recite the respective seed syllables such as "Hrih Hari Nisa (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿཧ་རི་ནི་ས་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीःहरिनिस, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ harinisa, Literal Chinese meaning: Hrih Hari Nisa)" and touch the bindu with alcohol.
