One should stabilize by reciting "Kṣa Rakṣa Hūṃ." Then, gather the wrathful mothers into oneself, and again scatter nectar in all directions, generating a white lion-faced mother above with "Siṃha Mukha Hūṃ Hū Phaṭ." Similarly, with the same beginning and end, generate a black crow-faced mother in the east with "Kāka Sya Mukha"; a green owl-faced mother in the north with "Ullā Sya Mukha"; a red dog-faced mother in the west with "Śvāna Sya Mukha"; a yellow pig-faced mother in the south with "Sukara Sya Mukha"; and a black tiger-faced mother below with "Vyāghra Mukha," each countless, holding curved knives and skull cups, pervading the three realms of below the earth, on the earth, and above the earth, residing like a sesame pod filled with sesame seeds, inside and outside the protective circle of their respective directions. Similarly, recite the mantra of Vairocani, or one's own mantra such as "Yama Ḍhṛ Ḍha Ye Hūṃ Phaṭ," and visualize the Yama-destroying mother, the stable mother, the tusked mother, the messenger mother, and the boundary mothers, in semi-corporeal form, pervading all boundaries. Then, abiding as the Bhagavati among those yoginis, command them with "Hūṃ! Amazing goddess!" etc., so that they destroy and burn any remaining obstacles, striking with burning stakes, causing consciousness to cease. Bless those wrathful mothers, countless, to look outward and avert, and countless to look inward and perform the work of protection. Reciting "Śrī Vajravārāhī Gha Gha Ghātaya Ghātaya Harmful Sarva Duṣṭān Hūṃ Phaṭ" is to cut off the boundaries. Here, in some branches of the notes, it is also said to generate and meditate on the five hand seals and the four elements, that is, the nine protective circles in sequence. If generating, do it that way, but there is no fault in not including it in the direct instructions of this sadhana. In general, for a yogi with the characteristics of a child, dispelling demonic obstacles and preventing them from entering again is the necessity of dispelling obstacles and the protective circle. But in reality, the karma, afflictions, appearances, and thoughts of one's own continuum are obstacles to the wisdom of the generation and completion stages, therefore they are obstacles. Destroying them with the yoga of bliss and emptiness, making them unable to arise, is dispelling obstacles. Non-virtue, thinking for one's own benefit, clinging to ordinariness, and thoughts of clinging to things as real are demons.

It is. That emptiness, the very nature of Vajra, and the great bliss, like a flame of fire, are inseparable in samadhi. Because it is immutable, it does not arise again and prevents what has arisen. This is the protective wheel. The door and the door-keeper are said to be the essence of the four right abandonments, and because demons other than one's own mind do not exist externally. In the Sutra of Manifest Enlightenment, it says: There is no demon, nor is there the work of demons. Just as one's own mind binds, whoever tames one's own mind, where can the demon dwell? So it is said. Then, purifying the ground with substances and samadhi is like the oral instruction that says to sweep and clean the ground and smear it with a mixture of the blood of humans, horses, and dogs with alcohol. Like that, mix the substances with hand mudras and make chak-chaks, and equally abide in the equality of wisdom. In the Sutra of Manifest Enlightenment, it says: With the nectar of the five wisdoms, the ground is to be smeared, and the perfection of patience is to be earnestly scattered with flowers like rain. The seat of various mudras is pure, laid out and very evenly placed. Meditate on the perfection of meditation, with the mind focused on one point. So it is said. Here, the ground ritual is not mentioned, so it is necessary to take it from other mandalas, as some lamas say. But that refers to the elaborate ground ritual with many activities. The yoga itself, the gathering, the illusion net, and the supreme mandala rituals, which are extensive, are said to be for the sake of disciples who need to be bound by elaborate activities. Otherwise, if those rituals are condensed into the essence, they will not be believed, and seeing many elaborate appearances will be satisfying. In India, there was a king named Gobichandra who had an old mother. She looked at the king and wept. When asked the reason, she said that even those who are benefited by lineage, appearance, youth, and glory like you will die, so I weep. When asked if there was a way to not die, she said yes, and that it was with the yogi among our housekeepers, so please ask him. Thus, she showed a siddha who was hidden. When asked there, the yogi put his hand into an empty vase, showed his empty hand, and said that this is the way to not die, meaning that all phenomena are emptiness, without death or non-death, that is the meaning.
