Zhi'o. It is called Zhi'o. In the Sutra of the Great Compassion of the Tathagata's Determination, it is said that teaching the Dharma that has results and speaking definitive words, etc., are more than sixty-four kinds. The qualities of freedom are many kinds. In the Compendium of Practices, it says: Their characteristics are these: subtle body and light touch and pervasiveness and true attainment and extreme manifestation and display and freedom and wish-fulfilling transformation. Thus, eight are spoken of. In the Oral Instructions of Manjushri, it says: From then until the endless cycle of existence, constancy and non-affliction, coolness and oneness, bliss and stainlessness, joy and delight, these are the eight tastes of experiencing great bliss. Thus, it is said. The glorious Naropa says in the Outer Commentary on the Guhyasamaja Tantra that after obtaining the freedom of body, speech, and mind vajra, body, speech, and mind are only symbols. As Naji said, in the Great Vajra Auspiciousness: The freedom of body and the freedom of speech and, likewise, the freedom of mind and, the freedom of miraculous power that goes everywhere, and the freedom of whatever one desires to create, there are eight meanings. After quoting this, obtaining the body vajra is the freedom of body, obtaining the speech vajra is the freedom of speech, obtaining the mind vajra is the freedom of mind, transforming freely the three realms is the freedom of miraculous power, pervading all is the freedom of reaching all, all the consorts and retinue enjoying is the freedom of desire, constantly abiding in the mandala of great liberation is the freedom of place, becoming the lord of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas is the freedom of retinue, thus it is considered to be eight kinds. Some say that at the time of the Bhagavan of Sambhuta: Freedom and beauty and, splendor and perfection, these six are called fortune. Thus, on top of the six qualities, adding self-benefit and other-benefit, it is explained as eight kinds. In general, the outsiders say: Whoever is subtle and dwells alone, born alone. Etc., saying that these eight qualities of pervasiveness and constancy are possessed by the god Ishvara. Therefore, in mantra too, it is only in name that it is associated with outsiders in order to accommodate them. Therefore, it is said in the Compendium of Practices.

The eight qualities are drawn from the terminology of outsiders. Likewise, it also possesses seven features: Realizing its very nature is the unsurpassed feature; the dissolution of duality into E-Vam (藏文:ཨེ་ཝཾ,梵文天城体:एवं,梵文罗马拟音:evam,汉语字面意思:Thus) is the feature of union; all dharmas being pure in unchanging bliss in all ways is the feature of great bliss; the arising of the enjoyment of all dharmas is the feature of perfect enjoyment; the uninterrupted continuity of reaching the end of all of samsara and nirvana is the feature of being uninterrupted; due to the habituation of great compassion, not moving anywhere from samsara, therefore, being completely filled with compassion is the feature of compassion; and completely eliminating all extremes is the feature of being without obstruction, these are the seven features. The body that transcends one and many, simultaneously accomplishing the benefit of limitless forms, as it says in the Guhyasamaja Root Tantra: Once the meaning is grasped, then in various forms: In some cases, behavior is with desire, in some cases, the mind is without desire. In some cases, it is a peaceful form, and in some cases, it is a mind filled with pride. In some cases, the body is consumed by illness, and in some cases, the body is very happy. In some cases, one is begging, and in some cases, a great king triumphs. In some cases, one is naked and immaculate, and in some cases, one is pure and chaste. In some cases, one is satisfied with just a little, and in some cases, one is amazed, and in some cases, the mind is without shame. In some cases, one sits silently, and in some cases, one proclaims loudly. In some cases, one eats excrement, and in some cases, one drinks milk. In some cases, one is suffering, and in some cases, one is creating great merit. In some cases, one is crying, and in some cases, one is completely delighted in play. In some cases, one is playing games, and in some cases, one is dancing alone. In some cases, behavior is like a Brahmin, and in some cases, behavior is like a skull-bearer. In some cases, one acts as a fierce slave, and in some cases, one is teaching the Dharma, and in some cases, one is listening to the Dharma. In some cases, one is performing magic, and in some cases, one is without magic. In some cases, one is an old man with many years, and in some cases, one is the form of a prostitute. In some cases, one enjoys supreme desire, and in some cases, one is attracted by miserliness. In some cases, the mind is without miserliness. In some cases, one is an animal limb, and in some cases, one is without consciousness, and in some cases, one is inexpressible, and in some cases, one shows a true form. Thus, the lord of yoga is like this.
