Sa Sho said that later, when the obstruction of the Dharma protectors occurred, a little was taken out and given to the younger brother, and the ritual of Vajrakila and the time offering were performed. It seems that this is what you truly believe in your heart. At this time, the practitioner of conduct yoga should not do those songs and dances, because all worldly songs and dances are without discrimination, and they also do songs and dances that have not been circulated before. The Vajra Amrita Tantra says: "Sing songs with pleasant sounds, mantras and Taroka Lali, villages such as Six Births, with common language, with joy and bliss, these should be sung." It also says that the benefit of song is: "Song is the yoginis themselves, making them happy, and wisdom should not be slandered." Also, the Guru Tantra says: "In front of the Dharmadhatu is the basis of dance, singing the song of Vajra vows, dancing with Vajra feet, and Mudra's special coquettishness, etc." Also, the First Buddha says: "With joy, bliss, and delight, play songs and music to your heart's content, smear with incense and garlands, and practice the King of Vidyadharas well, how to enjoy bliss is how to enjoy bliss, how to want is how to act, how to eat and enjoy, also practice to achieve unchanging victory." Also, Saraha said: "Enter the gathering of songs, dances, flutes, play, and music, with the dance of Heruka and songs such as Six Births, praise in your heart, do not be slightly discouraged." As it is said, among the sixty-four arts of the world, there are nine that belong to songs and dances that should be done. However, the Six-Possessed is one dancing, one singing, one playing the Ting Ting Shak, one playing the lute, etc. It seems that six are doing it together. Those are not in Tibet, but they are praised with songs and dances of their respective regions and times. Song is also not fixed, because most of the Dohas of the great Indian Siddhas were also sung and danced during practice. In short, in order to bind desire into great bliss with the single-pointed recollection of non-discrimination, the yogi sings with the pride of Amitabha (Tibetan: འོད་དཔག་མེད།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अमिताभ, Sanskrit Romanization: Amitābha, Chinese literal meaning: Immeasurable Light), dances with the pride of Heruka, and the yogini uses clothes.

The pride of white sings songs, and the pride of Vajravarahi dances, which is the supreme method for protecting oneself, one's place, and one's yoga, and for subduing the gods. The yogi who does not lose mindfulness, whatever is the form of Heruka, is not detached from desire, but with a mind accustomed [to desire], meditates with a mind of desire. Vajra Dharma and the Buddhas, Yoginis and consorts, with these songs and dances, sing well whatever is to be sung. By this alone, one protects the retinue, and likewise protects oneself. By this alone, one controls the world. Thus it is said. In short, for that yogi, all verbal expressions are recitation and vajra songs, wherever the feet are placed is a mandala, all movements of the limbs and changes of the fingers are mudras and dances, and whatever is thought is meditation. In the chapter on Suchness in the First Treatise, it says: By thoroughly examining the vowels and consonants, it is truly taught that speech is recitation, the trace of the feet is the mandala itself, therefore the mandala should be expressed. The movement of the hands is a mudra, and the kneading of the fingers is likewise. Because the mind is meditation, whatever is thought is meditation. Thus it is said. In the chapter on Symbols and Places, it says: There is nothing that should not be done, there is never anything that should not be eaten, there is nothing that should not be thought about here, there is nothing that is good or bad to say. As oneself is, so is another. Likewise, I am the supreme self. In this way, with the mind, enjoy yoga, enjoy food and drink, etc. As many movements of the limbs as there are, and the complete expansion of the senses, the glory of Heruka having entered, all those are mantras and mudras. Thus it is said. The pure form of wisdom and the conceptualizations of samsara have no difference whatsoever. It is through understanding the meaning of this that one enters. The definitive meaning is that in the Kalachakra, it is explained that all the postures of sitting up to the Vajra Seat are due to the purification of the left-extending wind of the left channel and the purification of the movement of the earth mandala from the left extension. Song abides as pure mantra, and dance is what is to be meditated upon. Therefore, the collection of wind and sound becoming the Vajra mantra itself is song and recitation, and the continuous meditation of bliss and emptiness, inseparable from skillful means and wisdom, is dance.
