Therefore. Here, according to the views of other wise and accomplished ones, from the power of the two accumulations, one proceeds to the suchness of the Dharmakaya through the power of wisdom, and through the power of merit, one again proceeds to the suchness of the Rupakaya and performs the work of benefiting beings. Therefore, with the wisdom awareness that is inseparable from wisdom and the Vajra mind, one should be called the Tathagata, which is the general and ultimate meaning. "Endowed with glory" refers to the five Mudra families. "Proceeding to that suchness" means realizing its family from that. "Returning again" means realizing the innate from that, which is explained as a hidden meaning. This verse is considered to explain the etymology of the Tathagata. The third is: "The families are said to be six types, When condensed, they are five types. By the distinction of body, speech, and mind, From the outside, they transform into three types." It is said that the five wisdoms, each similar to the above five families, and Vajrasattva and the realm of wisdom, which are similar to all, are said to be six types of families. When Vajrasattva and Akshobhya are condensed without distinction, it is said that there are five types of families. Alternatively, if divided by the distinction of body, speech, and mind, from the outside, the families can also transform into three types. The way to condense the five families into three is described in the "Immaculate Union": Vairocana and Amoghasiddhi are of the nature of skillful means and wisdom, so the body belongs to Vairocana. Similarly, Amitabha and Ratnasambhava are established as skillful means and wisdom, so speech is said to belong only to Amitabha. The mind, Akshobhya himself, with Vajrasattva condensed into it, thus transforms into three types. The fourth is: "The families and the five elements, And the nature of the five aggregates, By this family and enumeration, It is clearly expressed as family." It is said that the definitive word for "family" is: in the stage of purification, the families such as Vajra, and the five elements of earth, water, fire, wind, and space, and the five aggregates of form, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness, and the nature of the existence of the five realms, etc., with the five deity families that purify, and the five five winds of the root and branches, and the five nectars of Bodhicitta, etc.

These lineages, if combined with what is to be purified and what purifies, and the basis to be transformed and what transforms, since they all have the nature of the five Tathagatas, because they are of the same kind and are completely divided by the number of five groups, they should be manifestly called lineages. Or, since they are different from others, and the Vajra and other categories appear separately, they are called 'Kulam' (Tibetan: ཀུ་ལཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: कुलं, Sanskrit Romanization: kulaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: lineage), and another name 'Gotra' (Tibetan: གོ་ཏྲ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: गोत्र, Sanskrit Romanization: gotra, Chinese literal meaning: race) is used in the sense of merit. In Shantipa's commentary on difficult points, 'Pearl Garland,' it says: "'Mother' means wanting to benefit, 'Sister' means loving and steadfast, these two benefit the Vajrasattva lineage. Garma means clear wisdom, Tsoma means liking the Dharma of the white-clad bathing mother, Vajra Mother likes meditation, Tummo is free from pride and has a peaceful nature, Brahmin Mother is awe-inspiring because she is blameless." Because they possess these qualities, they are lineages. In particular, the division into five lineages is also determined as five because of the nature of the five elements and the five aggregates. Therefore, through this way of each lineage and what is to be counted, the lineage is established and manifestly called. Thus it is said. These are a concise explanation of the stages of the path of skillful means and action mudra. Third, regarding showing everything as co-emergent, there are three points: the nature of ultimate co-emergence, showing all particular forms, and how everything is that itself. The first point is: There is no meditator, nor is there anything to meditate on; there is no deity, nor is there a mantra. From the nature of non-elaboration, the mantra and the deity truly exist. Thus it is said. If someone asks, do such lineages and deities truly exist? As shown earlier in "Essence formless is the seer," etc., from the perspective of essence, because there is no meditator, there is also nothing to be meditated on through an object; there is no deity with the form of face and hands, nor is there a mantra to be recited. Then, why speak of deities, etc.? Because from the recognition of great bliss and the nature of non-elaboration such as signlessness, the co-emergent mantra and deity truly exist, because they are the nature of interdependence. This is the truth of the meaning, neither false nor true, just like everything is like the moon in water.
