In short, to request the ritual of the mandala. Thus it is. Secondly, as in the precious ornament and stainless light, according to the intention of Jema Marpa, in order to combine the meaning of the tantra into practice, although the words are spoken upside down, here it is assumed that it can be known from the general meaning of the combination of meanings. Here, considering that it is easy to teach and listen to only the meaning of the tantra alone and the combination of words, I will follow in the footsteps of Garwang Omniscient. It is divided into seven points: indicating the place to be occupied and colored powder, etc.; the difference between the upper three and the four joys; the order of the mandala's activities; the nature of the four empowerments; the questions and answers of the five aggregates; the characteristics of co-emergence; explaining the ultimate bodhicitta. The first point is: First, the yogi with the nature of the deity purifies the land. Through effort, the vajra is transformed from the letter Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽). After doing this, draw the mandala on the outside. In the garden and in places where there are no unbelievers, as well as in the residence of the Bodhisattva, and also inside the mandala house, a sacred mandala should be built. Use sacred colored powder, or use medium, or use the powder of the five treasures, or use rice, etc. Then the mandala is three cubits, and the thumb should be three more. It is said. Therefore, at the beginning of entering the order of the mandala's activities, first the yogi who practices Heruka or Nairatmya, with the yoga of the deity nature of the generation stage, must completely purify the impure place of "Norzin" as the name of the land. Among them, striving for practice, that is, indicating that effort should be made. How to do it? From the letter Raṃ, it becomes the sun above, and the vajra foundation born from the letter Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽) is made into tents and other things with the nature of vajra, and the land is blessed. After occupying and guarding the land, draw the mandala of either the father tantra or the mother tantra on the outside. Where to draw it? The word "garden" can also mean forest and garden. In places where there are no fierce people and unbelievers, as well as in the residence close to the Bodhisattva, and also in the temple where the body image is enshrined, etc., and inside the house gathered for the purpose of drawing the mandala, the sacred mandala of the Bhagavan father tantra and mother tantra should also be built, that is, the name.

完全具备之后,就要开始绘制坛城。那么,应该用什么样的材料来绘制呢?神圣的颜料,也就是珍贵的颜料,或者是以前西藏的上师们在祈求降雨时所说的殊胜颜料,对此的解释是:导师巴瓦巴扎说,所谓的“神圣颜料”,就是用人骨的颜料来绘制。其他译本中,有“用殊胜的颜料来绘制”或者“用美好的颜料”的说法。ḍhaṃ ga da śas(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)。 三肘代表bhaga(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟拟音,汉语字面意思)的三个角,三个拇指代表融乐、无分别的三者。

After being fully equipped, one should begin to draw the mandala. So, what kind of materials should I use to draw? The sacred pigment, that is, the precious pigment, or the supreme pigment that the former Tibetan lamas spoke of when praying for rain, is explained as follows: The teacher Bhava Bhadra said that the so-called "sacred pigment" is drawn with human bone pigment. In other translations, there are statements such as "draw with supreme pigment" or "with beautiful pigment." ḍhaṃ ga da śas (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning). It is also said that the pigment of heavenly objects should be used for drawing, so it is best to use the materials of the cemetery, or the powder of the five precious jewels. In "Immaculate Harmony," it says: Indranila (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning), Mani (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning), Vairurya (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning), moon crystal, marakata, etc. Or, use orpiment, conch, coral, gold and silver, etc. If these are not available, then from grains such as rice, turn barley or stones into five colors. Then, before drawing the mandala, it is necessary to draw lines. So, how should the size be determined? The width is twenty-four fingers to an elbow, use the teacher's three elbows length, plus three thumb widths. From the space between the eyebrows to the secret place is the path through which bodhicitta enters, which is three elbows and three thumb widths, as explained in "Union and Mind Commentary" and others. The three elbows represent the three corners of bhaga (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning), and the three thumbs represent the three of melting bliss and non-discrimination. The meaning of these, glorious Naropa said: The deity first spoken of is the union of Dharma, Sambhogakaya, Nirmanakaya and co-emergent, the supreme unchanging god. In "the land of drawing is a happy garden" and so on, the pleasing place is the nature of the mandala of body, speech and mind, the emptiness and sixteen compassions of the seed falling into the Dharmadhatu. The line is the unity of body, speech and mind, which Vajrasattva uses to increase, and so on. Regarding the meaning of pigments, "Immaculate Harmony" says: Jewels are the mind, five are the senses, powder is a symbol of fine dust, pervading the mandala of space. Rice and the like have no chaff, symbolizing the meaning of essence. The three elbows of the mandala are the three vajras, the extra three thumbs are co-emergent wisdom, and the three parts are joy.
