Appeared. This King of the Glorious Hevajra Tantra is said to have seven different translation lineages, including Marpa, Ngok, and Jokru, among which this one is the most extraordinary in its activities. In the sacred land of India, he was born into the Kayastha caste of royal scribes. Because he had the courage to explain many tantras, he possessed the definition of Upadesata, and was known as Khenpo Gayadhara Gluzin. Having renounced from the Drogmi clan, the fully ordained Bhikshu, the supreme bilingual speaker Shakya Yeshe, translated it from the Sanskrit original into Tibetan, examined and proofread the words and meanings, and accurately established it through teaching and listening. The essence of the nectar of the accomplished prince's excellent teachings, which ordinary beings of the degenerate age cannot consume. Sharing with those who are fortunate, the words are as easy to drink as flowing water, and this method of explanation is also worthy of adoption. Chapter divisions, added notes, and wonderful explanations, although numerous, the meaning of the tantra lies in the practice of the two stages. Naropa's oral instructions, which gather the essential points, are the treasure of the translator's heart that brings joy. The Ngokton father and sons, who held the lineage of teachings, did not rely solely on elaborate assembly discourses, but focused on integrating realization into their own minds, and thus many masters who achieved union arose in this region. From the radiant lineage of tantra holders, a figure as brilliant as the sun, the Self-Arisen Victor, with his wisdom eyes and clairvoyance, on the great path that correctly distinguishes right from wrong, many wise and accomplished ones for the fortunate, created many methods of guidance, and this commentary, which gathers the essence of the words, is not for the sake of boasting scholarship or fame. Merely recounting the origin of the Marpa and Ngok lineages, this Udumbara garden, is enough to inspire reverence, and therefore I write this subtle thread, merely as a wish and auspicious circumstance to continue the lineage in the world. Having understood the profound meaning of the tantra with its six edges and four aspects, through realization, the lotus of wisdom is opened, nourishing the body with the essence of wisdom nectar, possessing the flight of skillful means and the sound of Nada. With the sayings that are widely known in both India and Tibet, and the infinite beings who have equated abandonment and realization, the playful Vajra body that delights them all.

May it be established on the supreme throne of kingship! This commentary on the words and meanings of the second chapter of the glorious Tantrarāja, Hevajra, called "Unveiling the Indestructible Vajra Secret," was accomplished through the blessings of the three secrets of the emanation of the joyous Marpa Lotsawa, the one named Tai Situ Padma, and through the kindness of omniscient Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo and other second Vajradharas, who are fortunate to have received the complete ripening and liberation teachings of both the Sakya and Kagyu traditions of Hevajra. Karma Ngawang Yonten Gyatso Trinley Kunkhyab Pal Zangpo, or Lodro Thaye, combined the easily understood teachings that are primarily based on the collected explanations from the writings of the Second Buddha Rangjung Dorje, Chennga Chokyi Drakpa, Gampopa Khenchen Tashi Namgyal, and others. With the intention of slightly benefiting the Khenpos who teach and practice the Kalachakra, I have adorned it with various clarifications, without being tainted by the defilement of self-conception. It was completed at the retreat place of Tsa-dra Rinchen Drak in the remote area of the great monastic seat of Palpung, on the auspicious occasion of the King's White Year turning the Wheel of Dharma. May it become a cause for the river of profound secret teachings to increase and expand like a summer reservoir. May virtue and auspiciousness increase! Although possessing the desired resources, I have not accumulated them. Although not attached to the many retinues of desirable qualities, I have placed the treasury of the three trainings and the wisdom of the scriptures in the center of my heart of renunciation and recitation. This was written by the Dzogchen Ponlop Karma Ngedon Sungrap Tenpai Gyaltsen, during a short break in the cave of Khading. May virtue and auspiciousness increase! Sarva Mangalam! The glorious Hevajra Tantrarāja, the commentary on the words and meanings of the second chapter, "Unveiling the Indestructible Vajra Secret."
