These things, if carefully examined, will reveal that their individual self-natures do not exist. Therefore, from the very beginning, they are naturally pure. If that is the case, then what is the purpose of the path? Because the naturally pure is also obscured by sudden defilements, and delusion arises due to the power of ignorance, the afflictions arising from grasping and being grasped must be abandoned by seeing that they have no self-nature. In order to perfect the Buddha's teachings, the obscurations that are abandoned through cultivation, namely the obscurations to knowledge, must also be purified with great purity. The second is: Self-awareness is the nature of purity itself. Purity is not liberated by another. Because the objects of the realm are pure, one's own bliss of awareness is supreme. Forms and other realms, as well as what is seen by yogis, all those things are pure. In this way, beings become Buddhas. It is said that self-awareness is the nature of clarity and non-conceptualization. Taking the wisdom of the senses as an example, the directly perceived objects of yogis, which are to be known individually, are naturally pure and cannot be expressed by others. From beginningless time, it is free from the defilements of the three obscurations, and unlike the purity of gods and others, which involves conceptualization, it does not depend on liberation by others. The objects of the realm and those possessing the realm are all established by delusion. Therefore, when the delusion of the realm is purified, the possessor of the realm also becomes pure. Thus, due to the purity of grasping and being grasped, the great bliss of wisdom that is individually known becomes supremely pure. For that reason, forms, sounds, smells, tastes, tactile sensations, and dharmas, which are the realms, and other things not mentioned here, such as beauty and ugliness, all the objects seen by yogis in the outer and inner worlds are self-aware, co-emergent, and pure without distinction between the realm and the possessor of the realm. In this way, and as will be said below, all beings are non-dual wisdom, and that wisdom is the nature of the ultimate Buddha. Rangjung Zhap said: This is the essence of the Tathagata, which is extensively combined with the scriptural authority shown by the lotus, creatures, bees, etc., in the Uttaratantra Shastra. The third part has two points: identifying the essence and explaining it in detail. The first point is: O Bhagavan,

What is impure? The Blessed One said: It is form, etc. Why is that? Because it is the object of grasping and the substance of the grasper. After saying this, Vajragarbha asked: O Blessed One, since all things are naturally pure, what is the impure thing to be abandoned? In response, the Blessed One said: The imputed forms, etc., of ordinary people are impure. Why is that the reason? Because they cling to the object to be grasped and the mind that grasps as different substances. The second question is: Vajragarbha asked: O Blessed One, what are the grasped and the grasper? The Blessed One said: The form seen by the eye is to be grasped, Sound is to be heard by the ear, Smell is to be sensed by the nose, Taste is to be known by the tongue, Objects are to be touched by the body, The mind obtains happiness, etc., Having removed the poison with purity, These to be relied upon should be relied upon. After saying this, Bodhisattva Vajragarbha asked the Blessed One: O Blessed One, what are the so-called object to be grasped and the consciousness that grasps? The Blessed One said: The eye consciousness arising from the eye sense is the grasper, The external objects of blue, etc., are the objects to be grasped. Sounds are the objects to be grasped, and hearing with ear consciousness is the grasper. Similarly, smell is to be sensed by nose consciousness, taste is to be tasted and known by tongue consciousness, and objects of softness, roughness, etc., are to be touched by body consciousness, and the sixth mind consciousness, the objects are happiness, etc., and unhappiness and neutral conditioned and unconditioned dharmas, these appear as the grasped and the grasper in a mutually dependent manner. This is an unreal conceptualization, As it is said: The expression that appears as two and one is the unreal completely conceptualized, it is the nature of dharma. As it is said. Thus, these impure appearances, with the ultimate purity and the purity of the gods, abandoning the grasper and clinging, having removed the poison of afflictions, should be relied upon.
