As it is said, the way to combine the three bases, paths, and results should be understood from the general meaning. In the Ornamentation Treatise, it says: Vajrasattva is the generation stage of one face and two arms and the completion stage of clear light. The Great Bodhisattva is the generation stage of four arms and the illusory body. The Samaya Sattva is the generation stage of six arms and the completion stage of dreams. Only these are mentioned. Among them, the generation stage of the base and path is provisional, and the completion and suchness are summarized as definitive meaning and explained. Second, the question and answer regarding the essence of Hevajra are divided into two: the question and the answer. The first is the question of Vajragarbha: What is the abbreviation of the name? Why is it called Hevajra? What does the form of "He" say? What does "Vajra" also say? Thus it was said, Vajragarbha asked again: What is the meaning of the name or title "Hevajra," which is the nature of the indivisibility of the three vajras, in such a condensed form? I do not understand. For what reason is it called Hevajra? In particular, what meaning does the form of the letter "He" express? What meaning does the letter "Vajra" also show? Thus it is. The second is the answer of the Bhagavan: He is great compassion, Vajra should also be said to be prajna, the nature of method and prajna is the continuum, that is what I say, listen. Thus it was said, the Bhagavan replied: There are four in this. The meaning of the words is: The sound of the letter "He" indicates the method of great compassion, that is, the so-called "He" is the sound of "Heru," which means cause, and the cause of enlightenment is compassion, which is divided into two types: those who focus on sentient beings and those who focus on dharma. And three types of unconditioned compassion, here is the latter. The so-called "Vajra" is the diamond, and its meaning lies in destroying or breaking others, therefore, it should be said to be the prajna that destroys all elaborations or breaks all dharmas. The connection and continuity of the method of great compassion and the emptiness of prajna is the nature of the unsurpassed yoga tantra. Such a nature of union is called Hevajra. Therefore, that unsurpassed secret tantra is spoken by me, Vajradhara, please to the questioner.

Thus spoke the Blessed One. Among the eight methods of subduing, another that appears is the thumb, and it is said that images can be seen there. The definitive meaning is: to recognize ignorance, which destroys virtuous deeds, with wisdom, thereby clearly revealing the co-emergent reality, or ḍhaṃ ga da śas. Om, the three vajras are inseparable. Na, the four joys of the moment, and the four joys. Separated from the three times, non-time, which is the inconceivable time. The number of mantras exceeds one hundred and eight, the eight yoginis and their retinue. The fourteenth goddess is equal to this number, surrounded by the mandala of the selflessness mother. The eighth Heruka, along with the retinue of eight goddesses. Symbolizing the morning light, etc., it should be understood as explained in detail. Eighth, expelling the five kinds of animals: if one recites "Betuya, Betuya," the elephant will run away. If one recites "Mamma, Mamma," the tiger will run away. If one recites "Telliya, Telliya," the rhinoceros will run away. If one recites "Ili Mili Phu, Phu," the snake will run away. If one fully displays the hand with the gesture of subduing the wealth guardian, the dog will run away. Thus it is said. These are said for the purpose of averting harm from these animals when walking in the forest during the ascetic practice of a yogi. Thus some previous teachings. These mantras are in accordance with the deity yoga, therefore they are included among the five. Having recited the appropriate amount of approach beforehand, and then applying it to the activity, the animals will run away. Their literal meanings are: the first mantra means to suppress the mind, the second means to humble it, the third means to paralyze the body, and the fourth means to make one tremble. Its definitive meaning, as stated in the Immaculate Union Practice, is that the third letter "wa" of the fifth category is the nature of Amitabha, inseparable from wisdom. The third "da" of the third is Akshobhya. U, adorned with Vajra Dakini. Ya, is the nature of the consort. That is Vajra Mother, adorned by the long "Ah." That double mantra symbolizing the inseparability of the two truths, "Betuya, Betuya," if recited, the external elephant, and the internal afflictions and desires, mainly the ignorance of the senses and objects, will run away.
