Firstly, Dharma should not be given to those who are not suitable vessels. Thirdly, there are those to whom conventional Bodhicitta mudras can be given and those to whom they cannot, so this should also be well understood. Why are these three not given to the unworthy? Because giving them would result in a major root downfall. Engaging in vows and practices is always accompanied by downfalls and should never be done. Thirdly: Food and drink alike, however obtained, should be thoroughly consumed. Because of discriminating between pleasant and unpleasant, one should not be attached to just that. Engaging in what is edible and inedible, likewise in what is drinkable and undrinkable, in what is approachable and unapproachable by mantra practitioners, one should not engage in discrimination. It is said. Thus, if yogis who practice in this way practice with vows, does that mean they are accompanied by worldly discriminations? No, it is not so. Food such as tsampa, edibles such as fruits, and likewise drinks such as alcohol, are consumed and enjoyed without any prohibition or establishment, however they are obtained. Since all pleasant and unpleasant objects are measured by discrimination, one should not be attached to them even with the mind, as if they were illusions. Similarly, one enjoys without acceptance or rejection what is edible, like molasses, and what is inedible, like feces. Likewise, what is drinkable, like yogurt and alcohol, is the same as what is undrinkable, like urine. Looking at one's own mudra and beautiful forms as approachable, and ugly forms, sisters, etc., as unapproachable, etc., should not be discriminated by yogis who know the true meaning of secret mantra. Fourthly: Whatever disciple has attained accomplishment, the one who illuminates true wisdom, for the sake of abandoning the cause of uninterrupted hell, the accomplished one shows respect to the guru. It is said. This, too, as mentioned before, shows conduct that does not contradict the vows. If one abandons dualistic grasping in everything, does that mean one does not need to respect the guru either? No, it is not so. Whatever yogi practitioner is a disciple who has obtained the power of attaining great accomplishment, and whatever guru of his does not possess such qualities, one should not be disrespectful.

Why is that? Because he is the holy guru who generates the light of true wisdom in my mind. Because breaking vows can cause sentient beings to experience the suffering of uninterrupted hell, in order to avoid this, even those who have attained accomplishment should prostrate to their guru with respectful thoughts. As it is said in the song: "No matter which disciple has attained accomplishment, if they are arrogant and do not prostrate to the guru, and do defaming and base deeds, they will surely fall into evil destinies." The fifth is: "Freed from learning and empowerment, as well as the fruit of shame. The yogi discerns the nature of all things with wisdom and great compassion. Transcending fire offerings, offerings, and asceticism, abandoning mantras and meditation, freed from vows and precepts, the one endowed with yoga acts." It is said that the yogi who understands the meaning of non-elaboration and co-emergence is freed from actions that depend on others, saying, "This is what should be learned, and this is what should not be learned," or from the vows of the Hearers and common disciplines, and from elaborations such as entering outer mandalas and receiving empowerments. Likewise, one is also freed from the shame of fearing the slander of others and its result—discouragement, or implicitly, from pursuing worldly results. Why is that? Because the yogi should discern the nature of all phenomena, such as form, as emptiness in the manner of yoga, thereby realizing that all phenomena are without self-nature. Calling upon Vajragarbha with great compassion, therefore, transcending external fire offerings, offerings to the Buddhas, giving wealth, and ascetic practices such as fasting, also abandoning the recited and spoken mantras, and the meditation with distinctions, such as the generation stage and other meditations, and being freed from temporary vows and precepts, and all actions of body and speech such as guarding vows, one acts with the yoga of the equality of all phenomena as unreal, all of which are complete in co-emergence.
