If asked why, because that which arises from the co-emergent body bestows great bliss, it is therefore called a deva. Here, Khedrup Trakna says that this explanation deviates from the meaning of the scriptures, and his own view is that the wisdom itself can also be referred to by the names of the six non-Buddhist gods, such as Brahma (藏文:ཚངས་པ།,梵文天城体:Brahmā,梵文罗马拟音:Brahmā,汉语字面意思:梵天), Vishnu (藏文:ཁྱབ་འཇུག,梵文天城体:Viṣṇu,梵文罗马拟音:Viṣṇu,汉语字面意思:毗湿奴), Shiva (藏文:ཞི་བ།,梵文天城体:Śiva,梵文罗马拟音:Śiva,汉语字面意思:湿婆), Sarva (藏文:ཐམས་ཅད་པ།,梵文天城体:Sarva,梵文罗马拟音:Sarva,汉语字面意思:萨瓦), Buddha (藏文:སངས་རྒྱས།,梵文天城体:Buddha,梵文罗马拟音:Buddha,汉语字面意思:佛), and Parama (藏文:དམ་པ་དེ་ཉིད།,梵文天城体:Parama,梵文罗马拟音:Parama,汉语字面意思:至上). The meaning of calling it Brahma is that the wisdom itself is the Buddha who is free from obscurations; the meaning of calling it Vishnu is that it enters into the essence of all things; the meaning of calling it Shiva is that it constantly does good and brings happiness; the meaning of calling it Sarva is that the wisdom dwells in the nature of all things; the meaning of calling it Parama is that it has become ultimate bliss; and the meaning of calling it Omniscient Buddha is that it perfects unsurpassed bliss. These preceding and following words are connected in a concise and extensive manner, which is the direct meaning. The six chakras, six objects, six consciousnesses, etc., are pure and free from obscurations, co-emergent manifestation, which is the definitive meaning. Here, Shantipa, in the "Garland of Pearls," abbreviated the words between "that born of the body," saying that deva is born of the body, and explaining its meaning as: gradually purifying the contaminated body into the pure realm, from which arises the uncontaminated body, called the Vajra Body, and from that arising, it is called deva. According to the definition of deva shown in this verse, if asked why that wisdom is called deva, is it because it is the nature of the five aggregates, arising from the body? If it is connected with love, then it is called deva because it enjoys melting bliss. The fourth is: This Buddha possesses Bhaga, therefore it is called Bhagavan. Bhaga has six explanations, that is, possessing all the qualities such as freedom, or to destroy afflictions and other demons, therefore it is called Bhagavan. Thus it is said. The literal meaning here is: When such an uncontaminated body is attained and established as a Buddha, why is it called Bhagavan? Because this perfectly enlightened Buddha has the name Bhaga, which has both the meanings of share and destruction, possessing all the qualities without any deficiency, therefore it is called Bhagavan.

It should be called 'Passed.' 'Bhaga' or 'Portion' is spoken of in six ways: splendor, fame, wisdom, power, beauty, and diligent, perfectly complete possession. These six are called 'Bhagavan.' As it is said, it is the very possession of all qualities. Furthermore, Bhagaṇa means destroyer, because it destroys the four maras of affliction, death, the son of the gods, and the aggregates, it is called 'Bhagavan.' The translator's addition of 'Passed' is not without reason, because it is said to be 'beyond existence,' so 'Bhava' is existence, and 'Gata' is passed. Here, the letter 'Ga' indicates 'passed,' according to the views of Gö Lotsawa and other great scholars. The definitive meaning is that the Buddha of true meaning, the vajra of the mind, possesses the qualities of Bhaga, so it can also be called 'Bhagavan.' The six Bhagas are the center of the six chakras, such as the forehead, and there, the bodhicitta bindu arising from the body, abiding in the deity of the nature of selflessness, thus obtaining all six qualities such as the eight powers. Or, in that secret place, because there is no outward movement, there are no maras such as afflictions, and because the samadhi like a vajra destroys conceptual thoughts, it is called Bhagavan. Fifth, because it gives birth to beings, it is called 'Wisdom Mother.' Because it shows the portion, it is called 'Wisdom Sister.' It can also be called 'Cooking Mother,' 'Daughter,' and 'Dancer.' Because it cooks all sentient beings, it is thus called 'Cooking Mother.' Because wisdom pours forth qualities, it is called 'Daughter.' Because great compassion moves, wisdom is called 'Dancer.' Because Bhagavan is untouchable, it is called 'Outcaste Woman.' As it is said, these are also direct interpretations. From the sound of Sanskrit mātṛ(梵文,Devanagari:मातृ,IAST:matri,Literal meaning:Mother), arises 'the one who gives birth,' which is 'Mother,' bhāginī(梵文,Devanagari:भागिनी,IAST:bhagini,Literal meaning:Sister) is 'the one with a portion,' which is 'Sister,' pāginī(梵文,Devanagari:पागिनी,IAST:pagini,Literal meaning:Cook) is 'the one who cooks,' which is 'Cooking Mother,' duhīnī(梵文,Devanagari:दुहिनी,IAST:duhini,Literal meaning:Daughter) is 'the one who pours,' which is 'Daughter,' nartakī(梵文,Devanagari:नर्तकी,IAST:nartaki,Literal meaning:Dancer) is 'the one who acts,' which is 'Dancer,' ḍombinī(梵文,Devanagari:डोम्बिनी,IAST:dombini,Literal meaning:Outcaste Woman) is 'the one who is not to be touched,' which is 'Outcaste Woman.' In short, the mudras mentioned earlier generate the wisdom of power, show the portion of bliss, and transform the color of conceptual thoughts.
