Suffering and, arising and, cessation and, path. Thus it is said. This also has two aspects. If explained according to the outer meaning, it is difficult for children to understand and becomes the object of the wisdom of the noble ones. The four truths in their respective natures of conventional truth and ultimate truth are: the aggregates of close grasping, etc., the birth of sentient beings, and the place of birth, that is, all of samsara is suffering; the accumulation of afflictions and karmic imprints is the cause of sentient beings arising in the cycle of existence, therefore it is arising; on suchness, whatever is aimed at, the cessation of defiled things is cessation; possessing the characteristics of path, reason, practice, and definite emergence, relying on the continuum is called the noble truth of the path. Among these, arising is the cause and suffering is the result, which is samsara; path is the cause and cessation is the result, which is the cause and effect of nirvana. Therefore, suffering is to be fully known, arising is to be abandoned, cessation is to be realized, and the path is to be cultivated. If explained according to the inner meaning, suffering through the asceticism of seeking undefiled bliss, thereby the pure realms move from all places and arise, to prevent the body from leaking out, cessation is achieved through wind and whirling, holding that, meditating on bliss, clarity, and non-conceptuality is the path, that is, the four wheels are joined in sequence. Third, the four suchnesses are: the suchness of self, the suchness of mantra, the suchness of deity, and the suchness of wisdom. Thus it is said. Because it shows the meaning without inversion, it is called the four suchnesses. This has two aspects. According to the interpretable meaning, the yogi's body is inseparable from the appearance of the deity, which is the suchness of self. Like the mandala of support and supported arising from the tantra, it is the suchness of deity. The recitation of the vase empowerment, the recitation of the wheel, and the mental recitation are not confused with each other, which is the suchness of mantra. The profound completion stage of placing the mind on the luminosity free from elaboration is the suchness of wisdom. According to the definitive meaning, truly determining the nature of gross and subtle, understanding the state of body and mind, is the suchness of self. Protecting the impure mind with the non-dual mantra is the suchness of mantra.

The deity of the pure mandala of the realm, ascertained as the nature of illusion, is the Suchness of the deity. The non-elaborate and the self-aware wisdom become one taste, which is the Suchness of wisdom. The four wheels are also arranged in descending order. Fourth, the four joys are joy, supreme joy, joy of separation, and innate joy. It is said that the four joys, both contaminated and uncontaminated, experienced through reliance on the four mudras, according to the external explanation of the two truths, are: joy is entering the worldly path with devotion; supreme joy is attaining the four dhyanas; joy of separation is attaining the path of seeing, which transcends the three realms; and innate joy is entering the Buddha-ground, which is receiving the empowerment of great light. In terms of inner meaning, it is the order of experiencing arising. Experiencing a slight melting bliss from meditating on the stages of the means is joy. From that surpassing joy, destroying coarse conceptual thoughts is supreme joy. When bliss and emptiness become inseparable, and the attachment to pleasure ceases, abandoning the extreme of attachment is joy of separation. Since attachment, non-attachment, and the middle way are all imperceptible, realizing the meaning of inseparable bliss and emptiness without conceptualization or error is innate joy. The four wheels are arranged in ascending order. Fifth, the four schools are the Sthavira school, the Sarvastivada school, the Sammatīya school, and the Mahasanghika school. It is said that the four schools, possessing many assemblies, externally are: the noble lineage not moving from its own place is steadfast; viewing the three times as truly existent and asserting that all phenomena, causes, and effects exist; following the teachers who are revered by all of many different lineages; and also being a sangha and possessing a large assembly. Thus, the four schools, like the basis for the division into the eighteen schools and so forth, internally are the root of all bodhicitta. All the branch channels that generate bliss from the four chakras are divided, therefore all are summarized as parts of the four wheels. In this root tantra and the union tantra, it is said, "Because the emanation is shown, the wheel of emanation is the Sthavira school. Uttering the dharmas in the mouth
