And, the answer. The first part is: Then, all the yogis asked the Bhagavan: What are those objects? What are the faculties? What are the sources? What are the aggregates? What are the realms? What is the nature of these? After saying this, after the vows were spoken, all the yoginis, starting with the Selfless Mother, asked the Bhagavan: What are those objects to be grasped, which were mentioned above as the object of training? What are those who particularly control actions by focusing on individual meanings? What causes the mind and mental events to arise, increase, and grow? What are the aggregates, which are collections of many substances? How many are the realms that have become the meaning of lineage? What is the nature of these objects, etc.? This is what was asked. The second part is: The Bhagavan said: The six objects are: form, sound, as well as smell, taste, as well as touch, the nature of the dharma realm, these are called the six objects. The faculties are six: eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, as well as mind. These are the six faculties, endowed with ignorance vajra, etc. By objects and object-holders, they transform into the twelve sources. The five aggregates are form, etc., and finally consciousness, great compassion. The faculties and the objects themselves, as well as the consciousness of the faculties, for the sake of the yoginis' understanding, the eighteen realms are explained. After saying this, the Bhagavan answered the question: The six objects to be grasped by the sense consciousness are: the eye's object, twenty forms such as blue, or twenty-five forms; the ear's object, eight or eleven sounds; similarly, the nose's object, four or six smells; the tongue's object, six or twelve tastes; similarly, the body's object, eleven or twenty-two touches; the mind's object, the sixteen dharma realms of the nature of conditioned and unconditioned dharmas. These are called the six objects to be grasped. Here, the distinction of the object form, twenty kinds, etc., is according to the lower Abhidharma of the Lesser Vehicle.

The latter, as explained in the Compendium of the Great Vehicle (Mahāyānasaṃgraha), also appears in the commentary Kaumudi, mentioning only the names. The twenty-five forms explicitly stated in the Great Vehicle: blue, yellow, red, white, long, short, square, round. Fine, coarse, textured, and untextured, high, low, shadow, sun, light, darkness, cloud. Smoke, dust, apertures, places of manifestation, expressive form, and space are of one color. Sound is neither pleasant nor unpleasant, grasped and ungrasped, arising and not arising. Two are worldly fame and established teachings, eleven are the imputed, noble, and non-noble designations. Delicious and not delicious, co-emergent and simultaneous, six are the odors arising from combination and transformation. Tastes are sweet, sour, salty, spicy, bitter, and astringent, agreeable, disagreeable, neither, co-emergent, and. Twelve in total, adding those arising from combination and transformation, tactile sensations are soft, rough, heavy, light, pliable, and loose. Non-loose, cold, hunger, thirst, satiety, gain, loss, great, small, fainting, itching, fatigue, old age, death, suffering. Rest, accumulation, great, twenty-two in total, the realm of phenomena, conditioned, transformed from aggregation. Places of manifestation, truly taken and arisen, imputed, dominion, feeling, perception, volition, eight types. The unconditioned are good, non-good, and the three suchnesses of the unspecified. Space, cessation, meditative absorption without perception, selective cessation, non-selective cessation, cessation, eight types are explained. Thus. The faculties that particularly dominate objects are six: the eye faculty that dominates form is like a saffron flower. The ear faculty that dominates sound is like a bent bamboo tube. The nose faculty that dominates odor is like copper needles placed side by side. The tongue faculty that dominates taste is like a half-moon. The body faculty that dominates touch is like soft bird feathers. Regarding these, there are also views according to philosophical tenets, with some considering the five faculties taken by the alaya consciousness as faculties, some considering them as seeds or potencies, and some considering them as material objects, totaling three. The mind faculty that dominates phenomena is the six consciousness realms, and the afflicted mind. Thus, just as the five sense consciousnesses have their own unique dominant conditions, similarly, the sixth mind consciousness also has its own unique mind.
