Whatever beings wander at night, the bhūtas and flesh-eaters, the rākṣasas who eat raw flesh, and all kinds of sentient beings, who dwell in trees, haunted houses, etc., to them, this torma is, including food, meat, wine, and radishes, and a great amount of rice and many fruits, may you be pleased by this offering, pacify the thought of harming, and generate a mind of benefiting us, from today onwards, please generate this mind. Even if adorned with ornaments, practice Dharma, be disciplined and truly uphold vows, practice celibacy, abandon punishment for all beings, such is the bhikṣu, the ascetic, and the brahmin. There is no fear of weapons, all cherish the life of the living. Take your own body as an example, do not harm others. Oṃ. Whatever great or small beings, who have manifestly harmed the body, may that disease be quickly removed, may that demon return to its place. Thus, with what I am capable of, I have made offerings and reverence, may you abide by your vows and fulfill my wishes.
