Rest in the knowledge of the ground, the self-nature of clarity and emptiness, indivisible. Furthermore, visualize the body as the Sugata in peaceful and wrathful forms, speech as the sound of mantra, and mind as the excellent pride of the wisdom of those appearing in great bliss. Awareness of emptiness is the completion stage. Clarity appearing as deities is the generation stage. Those two, in the single taste of awareness, indivisible, rest in the naked state beyond mind. Through this cause, the path of appearance arises. Grasp the key points of the generation and completion stages. Experiences of clarity and emptiness arise in awareness. Second, distinguishing the inner root syllables: At the crown of oneself and others, there is the seed syllable of the gods, white A (Tibetan: ཨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal Chinese meaning: 阿). At the throat, there is the seed syllable of the asuras, yellowish-green Su (Tibetan: སུ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: सु, Sanskrit Romanization: su, Literal Chinese meaning: 苏). At the heart, there is the seed syllable of humans, bluish-green Nri (Tibetan: ནྲྀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: 赫利). At the navel, there is the seed syllable of animals, reddish-black Tri (Tibetan: ཏྲི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: त्र, Sanskrit Romanization: tra, Literal Chinese meaning: 扎). At the secret place, there is the seed syllable of the pretas, reddish-black Pre (Tibetan: པྲེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: प्रे, Sanskrit Romanization: pre, Literal Chinese meaning: 贝). At the soles of the feet, there is the seed syllable of hell beings, smoky Du (Tibetan: དུ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: दु, Sanskrit Romanization: du, Literal Chinese meaning: 度). Consider that the predispositions of the six realms are inherently present, like smoke rising from a coal pit. The means of purification are the three vajra syllables of awareness and wisdom. In appearance, at the crown is white Om (Tibetan: ༀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 嗡), at the throat is red Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: 阿), and at the heart is blue Hung (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 吽). Visualize them as radiant, bright, and blazing with light. Through the recitation of the three syllables, wisdom fire arises from them, blazing with its own light, burning all six syllables along with their predispositions into nothingness. Purify all the causes and effects of samsara and the lower realms, and visualize your own body as a clear, polished crystal ball. Recite Om Ah Hung seven million times, clearly and firmly. By this, signs of the purification of obscurations arise in general, and experiences of bodily bliss, pure speech, and clear, empty mind occur. By transforming the seed syllables of birth in the six realms into the path, one will not revert to samsara in the future. Second, the preliminaries of the three doors have three parts: body, speech, and mind. First, the training of the body: On a soft and spacious cushion, place the soles of the feet together. Press the heels against the perineum. Straighten the body, and without touching the head with the hands, join the palms together and spread the elbows. Press the Adam's apple with the throat. Look into the space in front of you. In your mind, visualize your own body as a blue three-faced vajra, with a flawless dark blue color, blazing with fire, and mix your awareness with the vajra as if placing it inside. The three faces of the vajra represent the three kayas of essence, nature, and compassion, and the waist being drawn together as one represents the indivisibility of the path.
