English

"Sent nine children." Thus it was said. First, the three aspects of the body: externally, worldly affairs and distractions; internally, prostrations and circumambulations, etc.; secretly, abandoning all distracting actions and dwelling alone. The three aspects of speech: externally, various false worldly talks; internally, recitations and repetitions, etc.; secretly, abandoning all speech and remaining silent. The three aspects of mind: externally, various false worldly thoughts; internally, the mind's grasping of the generation and completion stages, etc.; secretly, abandoning all distractions of conceptual thoughts and abiding only in non-thought. Thus, the three doors naturally abide, and abiding becomes stable and leads to liberation. Second, the main practice of relying on the uncontaminated wisdom stream has five points: mind, door, object, wind, and awareness. First, the key point of the practice of mind is: because it is the basis of Tögal, Trekchö, therefore, using the previously explained practice of Kadag, the key point of separating mind and awareness, one-pointedly abide in the nature of the union of quiescence and insight. Second, the key point of the manifesting door is: In the 'Beyond Mind': "The door is to look at the three bodies with the eyes." Although there are three ways of looking, it must be related to the three ways of abiding. That is, first, the way of abiding of the Dharmakaya, like a lion: on the cushion, the soles of the feet slightly touching, the knees extended outward, the hands clenched into fists placed between the legs, the arms straightened, the upper body erect, the neck slightly tilted upward, the eyes looking upward, looking at the sky of the crown of the head. Thus, temporarily, the inner elements are balanced, and ultimately, the meaning of the state of reality is realized. Second, the way of abiding of the Sambhogakaya, like an elephant lying down: on the cushion, the body lying face down, the knees and chest touching, the elbows propped on the ground, the palms supporting the throat, the fingers touching the cheeks, the spine straightened, the head tilted upward, the eyes looking sideways to the left and right, looking like an archer straightening an arrow shaft. Thus, temporarily, the moving winds are bound, and ultimately, the meaning of the spontaneously present five lights is revealed. Third, the way of abiding of the Nirmanakaya, like a sage: on the cushion, sitting squatting, the two ankles of the feet together, the two hands placed on the waist or knees, the spine straightened, the eyes.
