Things do not arise, because the arising of a substantial result from a non-substantial cause is contradictory in substance. Because of that reason, it must be admitted that consciousness and objects do not have a relationship of arising from each other. If the realist thinks so, then for eye consciousness and so on, forms and other objects should not appear, because the two have no relationship. If it appears, then it pervades its own nature or arises from it, and if it does not appear, it also pervades, like a dream and unseen objects. Furthermore, just as eye consciousness cannot hear sounds and tongue consciousness cannot see colors. Because of that reason. Naropa's view is also summarized: These phenomena of appearance and existence are not apart from self-aware mind, because they are apparent and clear, like self-aware experience. If it is not that mind, then it should not appear because there is no relationship. Thus, the conventional truth is determined. It is said. The third is: Therefore, realize that it is not from that. It is said. Because of the reason just mentioned, the outside How these appearances are not established as true objects other than the inner consciousness, because this certainty also arises from the habit of beginningless familiarity, in the object of one's own conceptualization, the awareness of lotus recognition, clearly experienced in one's own mind, unrelated to this, the vase in other minds, etc., is like not appearing to oneself, because the tiny indivisible particles and the vast mountain forests, etc., clearly appear, those are themselves, by the meaning of reason and logic. Because there is no true object established outside that is different from consciousness. Brahma and others, including Ishvara, Vishnu, the self, and atoms, etc., cannot be established as agents, and all of those are just appearances of the mind, realizing that they are not real things. In the Manjushri Play Sutra, the son of the gods, Lotus Play, said to Manjushri: Are the external objects made by the maker? How should we look at it? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, these external objects are not made by the maker, because the power of the habits of mental discrimination is increased

It appears due to the power of. The son of the gods said: No matter how much the habit increases, how can mountains, oceans, suns, etc., which are solid and dense, appear? Manjushri said: It is possible to appear like this due to the power of the increasing of discrimination. In the great city of Varanasi, an old woman meditated on her body as a tiger, and as a result, all the people in the city saw her as a tiger, and everyone ran away, and the city became empty. Some monks meditated on their bodies as impure, and as a result, they saw everything rotten and smelly. If these appear like this even for a short time, why wouldn't the habits that have increased since beginningless time appear? Like this, it is widely said. Fourth, mind and even things are not real. It is said: What kind of connection do you think the sixth consciousness, mind, and the dharma that appears as its object have? It is like the habits of daytime memories, when oneself is suppressed by sleep, one experiences seeing and hearing as if in reality in the realm of dreams, which is true. Similarly, the habit of mind, the memory of a vase arising earlier, although it disappears immediately, later discriminations gradually and continuously focus on it again. Without examination, one is attached to the reality of the object of grasping, thinking "it is a vase." Apart from that, no object of dharma exists separately from the mind as truly established. Just as in a dream, without a single particle of reality, various appearances manifest. The habit of the vase, its characteristics, and the arising of the belief in its reality are all of a momentary nature. Third, showing that the mind is unborn, divided into two: The actual text and the proof of the argument. First, like that, and so on, not being two. It is said: Then, even if the external object is not truly established, is the internal consciousness established or not? It is not established. For example, just as "that mountain" depends on "this mountain," consciousness depends on the knowable. If the object of grasping does not exist, then the consciousness of grasping also does not exist. As it is said in the Ornament for Clear Realization: If the object of grasping is empty of nature, then what do they grasp? Therefore, their graspers are of the nature of emptiness. Thus it was said, and the teacher Nagarjuna also said: Without grasping.
