Possessing the inconceivable secret of mind, the secret of speech of all Victorious, complete Buddhas, is also like the sound images in rocks and other places, hearing various sounds, but without forming the essence of letters; the secret of body is like the sky, pervading all things, appearing in various shapes, but without forming a form, and is constant; just as the earth serves as the basis for the growth of crops and other things, for the immeasurable continuum of sentient beings to be tamed, it becomes the basis or root for the growth, reliance, and expansion of all white virtuous Dharma crops and medicinal herbs, which is the place attained by all Buddhas who possess great compassion, fully encompassing all places. Third, summarizing again and showing specifically, there are two aspects: the way it appears but has no birth and death, and the way it surpasses similar Dharmas. The first has two aspects: the example of the faculties, and the way it has no birth and death because it is continuous. The first is: Pure like beryl, The cause of seeing the Buddha in the mind, Their land is irreversible, The nature of the faith faculty is strengthened. When virtue arises and ceases, The Buddha's form arises and ceases, Like Indra, The body of Dharma has no birth and death. It is said that if the Buddhas are always without birth and death, then what is the reason for seeing the appearance of birth and death? Relying on the accumulation of virtuous roots, the ground becomes like pure beryl, and the reason for clearly seeing the body of the complete Buddhas in one's own stainless and clear mind, or the method of purifying the mind, is to make the faculties such as faith very firm and stable in a way that does not contradict the conditions of disbelief and other opposing factors. In this regard, just as the purity of the ground affects the appearance and disappearance of images, when the virtuous roots such as faith of the beings to be tamed arise and perish, due to the influence of these factors, the conventional form bodies of the Buddhas appear to arise and perish in sequence, but like Indra's own essence not moving from the realm of the Thirty-Three Heavens.

The omniscient one who is capable of this, because his own true nature is the unchanging Dharmakaya, is without birth and destruction. Secondly, it is said: 'Thus, effortlessly, from the unborn and unceasing Dharmakaya, until the end of samsara, the deeds of the teacher and others arise.' So, if one wonders what the reason is that activities constantly arise without effort, it is like Indra and others who, although without effort, benefit others by the appearance of images and so on. Similarly, for the Buddhas, without any effort of discrimination and so on, from the manifestation of the Dharmakaya, which is without birth and cessation from the beginning, without wavering, until this endless existence of samsara for sentient beings is not empty, the body shows various miracles, the speech speaks instructions, and the mind pervades with knowledge and compassion, etc. This spontaneously accomplished activity continues uninterruptedly. Secondly, there are two aspects to how it surpasses similarities in Dharma: a summary and a detailed explanation. The first is: 'These examples are summarized, the meaning is this, the order is also, the former and latter dharmas are not the same, it is expressed through the door of abandonment.' It is said that the meaning summarized by these nine examples that represent the activities of the Buddha is explained by these treatises that have been and will be explained. Moreover, the reason for the order of explaining the latter example after the former example will also be explained, because the former examples cannot fully represent the activities of the Buddha, and whatever aspects of the Dharma are not the same, the latter examples abandon them in order and explain them in the same way as the Dharma. Secondly, the Buddha is like an image, but does not have sound, unlike an image; like a celestial drum, but cannot always accomplish the benefit of others, unlike a celestial drum; like a great cloud, but does not abandon meaningless seeds, unlike a great cloud; like the Great Brahma, but does not always cause ripening, unlike the Great Brahma; like the sun, but does not always destroy darkness, unlike the sun; like a wish-fulfilling jewel, but arising is difficult.
