And the time of abiding, To know the nature of reality as it is. The second is: essence, cause and effect, karma and possessing entering, that is constant inconceivable, the Buddha's land is established. It is said that, in this way, the essence is naturally pure, free from the adventitious defilements to be abandoned, possessing two purities, the meaning of essence, and the means to attain it, taking the path of Samatha-vipassana into practice, the meaning of cause, and from cultivating the path, being free from the defilements of the two obscurations, the meaning of effect, and from abandoning the obscurations, accomplishing the benefit of oneself and others, the meaning of karma, and the basis of these, the meaning of possessing inconceivable qualities, and that also essence and complete enjoyment and emanation, the meaning of entering through the distinction of the three bodies, and these also the meaning of being constant as long as beings and space exist, and how the ultimate state is, is the meaning that ordinary people cannot conceive of, the eight meanings themselves are the fruit The ultimate is established in the Buddha's land. The third has seven: explaining the essence and cause in detail, effect, karma, possessing, entering, constant, explaining the inconceivable in detail. The first has two: briefly showing how to attain purity, explaining its meaning in detail. The first is: whatever is said to be self-luminous, like the sun and the sky, is adventitious, obscured by the obscuration of dense clouds of afflictions and knowledge, the stainless Buddha, possessing all qualities, is the constant and unchanging Buddha, that is attained by relying on the non-conceptual discriminating wisdom of the Dharma. It is said that the Buddha who possesses two purities is self-luminous. The Bodhi spoken of in the definitive meaning scripture has four distinctions: wisdom is as vast as the sun, abandonment is as pure as the sky, the distinction of essence, adventitious defilements, obscured by dense clouds of afflictions and cognitive obscurations The stainless is the distinction of abandoning obscurations, the qualities of the stainless Buddha, possessing all powers and so on, and being constant and unchanging

The Buddha, manifest as the essence, has the distinction of possessing qualities, and enlightenment is obtained through the wisdom of non-discrimination of all dharmas in meditative equipoise and the wisdom of subsequent discrimination of knowable objects, relying on the practice of the path, which is the distinction of the cause, possessing a total of four aspects. Second, the extensive explanation is divided into four: the nature of the essence, the aspect of possessing qualities, the meaning of obscurations, and the cause of being free from them. First (verse): The Buddha's nature is without difference, well distinguished by pure dharmas, like the sun and the sky, the nature of both wisdom and abandonment. It is said that the very enlightenment of the Buddha is well distinguished by the dharmas that possess two purities, from abiding without difference in the essence of self-nature purity, and ultimately also being free from temporary defilements. Just as the sun is naturally radiant and the sky is naturally pure, the nature of wisdom, the non-dual qualities of radiant realization, and the complete purification of the two obscurations, that is, possessing the nature of both perfect abandonment and realization. Second (verse): Luminosity is not made, without difference, entering into the Ganges' sands, because it transcends the number of dust particles, the Buddha's dharmas are all complete. It is said that the uncontaminated realm, the self-nature luminosity of the Dharmakaya, is not manifestly compounded by causes and conditions, and it also has the characteristic of entering without difference into the nature of all sentient beings. It transcends the number of dust particles of the Ganges River, and from the beginning, it is naturally endowed with all the Buddha's qualities, such as the ten powers. Third (verse): By nature unestablished, and pervasive, and also being adventitious, the obscurations of afflictions and knowledge are said to be like clouds. It is said that the nature of all stains, from the beginning, is not truly established, and because it pervades all impure states, and because it can be abandoned, it is adventitious. For these three reasons, the obstacles to liberation are the obscuration of afflictions and all-knowing
