The essence of enlightenment realized through the power of Suchness is indicated by the attainment of purity, etc., and the essence of cause, etc. The very nature of the Dharmadhatu, being completely pure, is completely liberated from all adventitious defilements and abides in a state of perfect dual purity, which is the meaning of essence. The method of attaining it is to cultivate the union of Samadhi, the non-conceptual transcendental wisdom, and the subsequent worldly wisdom, which is the meaning of the cause of transformation. When those wisdoms are fully accustomed, the defilements of the two obscurations, together with their predispositions, are exhausted and liberated, and in the state of non-arising, the perfection of abandonment and realization is complete, which is the meaning of the result. Because of being free from the afflictive obscurations, one transcends all the defects of contaminated existence and attains infinite uncontaminated wealth, thus accomplishing the perfection of self-benefit. Because of being free from the cognitive obscurations, one engages without obstruction in everything, which is the perfection of benefiting others, the meaning of activity. The basis for accomplishing those two meanings is possessing immeasurable qualities of detachment and maturation, which is the meaning of possession. That very enlightenment, which possesses qualities, is incomprehensible and unfathomable even to the great noble ones, so the profound Dharmakaya, the vast Sambhogakaya that pervades all, and the great Svabhavikakaya, the Nirmanakaya that solely accomplishes the benefit of others in accordance with their capacity, are distinguished as the three Kayas, which is the meaning of entering. Those three Kayas also enter and abide for as long as the extent of space and the realm of beings exist, which is the meaning of permanence. The secret of the Buddha's nature, body, speech, and mind, is not the object of other beings besides the Buddha and is difficult to realize, which is the meaning of being inconceivable. Thus, the second chapter is completed by explaining through the eight meanings. Differentiating between Dharma and Dharmata itself is like a commentary on this chapter, where Dharmata is mentioned, and here, Immaculate Suchness is mentioned, which have the same meaning. From the meaning of the definition of Dharmata, etc., summarized in six ways, the first is what is to be known, the middle four are what are to be cultivated, and the last is the result, which transforms into three ways, and one should realize the extensive meaning in that. Then, abiding in the great enlightenment, with the result of detachment and maturation
