Unbearable harm from spirits, and reversing right and wrong, able to tolerate relatives but not enemies, able to tolerate these but not suffering such as illness, able to tolerate all these but losing Dharma in happiness, etc., abandoning hope in the aspect of mind training is a vow, therefore it should be constantly practiced. Transform intention, maintain original state. This means that the intention of cherishing oneself and not cherishing others should be reversed, and only cherishing benefiting others should be maintained. All mind training should be small in appearance but large in actual effect, therefore external behavior should be the same as other Dharma-abiding friends, maintaining one's original state, and maturing one's own continuum without others noticing. Do not speak of impaired limbs. This means that one should not speak unpleasant words about worldly faults such as lameness, foolishness, etc., and Dharma faults such as broken vows, etc., but should speak appropriate and pleasing words with peace, gentleness, and smiles. Do not think of any aspect of others. This means that one should not think of the faults of others, i.e., all sentient beings, especially those who have entered the Dharma, because seeing faults is due to my own impure appearance, they do not have such faults. One should think that it is like some people even seeing faults in the Buddha Bhagavan, thereby cutting off one's own faulty mind. First train the most intense affliction. This means that one should examine which affliction is most intense in one's own continuum, and first pile all the Dharma on top of it, taming and training it. Abandon all hope for results. This means that practicing mind training is to subdue ghosts and spirits, hoping that others will think well of oneself, repaying kindness with harm, etc., are all pretenses, therefore one should abandon them. In short, one should abandon all hopes for one's own benefit, such as happiness and fame in this life, human and divine blessings in the next life, and attaining Nirvana for oneself. Abandon poisonous food. This means that all virtuous actions arising from the clinging to the reality of things and the self-cherishing are like poisonous food, therefore one should abandon them, and train in non-clinging like illusion. Do not rely on good people. This means that, for example, worldly good people, no matter how much time and place have passed, will not forget those who have been kind to them, similarly, one should harbor resentment towards those who have harmed oneself.

You should abandon the grudge that never fades from childhood, and have the intention to repay harm with kindness. Do not reopen old wounds. In general, do not delight in publicizing the faults of others. In particular, in response to harsh words from others, not only do not retaliate with harsh words, but even if harmed, do not say "this is retribution," but always strive to praise the virtues of others. Do not wait for an opportunity. This means, keeping in mind the harm done by others, not forgetting it even after many years, and abandoning the idea of inflicting harm when the opportunity for revenge arises, and bestowing whatever benefit possible in return for harm. Even in the case of harm from evil spirits, do not hold grudges, but meditate solely on love and compassion. Do not hit the nail on the head. This means, do not say words that reveal the faults and secrets of others, such as hitting the nail on the head, and do not utter words that cause pain in the hearts of others, such as reciting the life mantras of non-humans. Do not transfer the load of the dzo to the ox. This means, shifting one's own responsibility to others, or using cunning means to transfer one's own difficult tasks to others, just like transferring the heavy load on the back of the dzo to the ox, do not do that. Do not bet on the fastest. Just as when betting on a horse race, one bets on the fastest horse, among fellow practitioners, do not expect to gain more fame, wealth, and respect for yourself, and abandon the idea of striving for various ways to obtain worldly gains, and be indifferent to whether or not you gain fame, wealth, and respect. Do not practice inverted Dharma. This means, if you temporarily endure failure for your own good, or if you practice in the hope of pacifying diseases, evil spirits, and eliminating misfortunes, it will become an inverted Dharma like a sorcerer exorcising ghosts, so do not do that, but whatever happiness or suffering arises, abandon hope, fear, pride, and deception and practice. Prince Asanga said, "This mind training for a single thought, if understood as a method beneficial to ghosts and demons, is no different from sorcery. Practicing Dharma must be an antidote to afflictions and discriminations." From this, it can be known that so-called wrong Dharma is the wrong view of permanence and annihilation, the meditation of attachment is wrong meditation, and the wrong conduct is contrary to the three vows, which arise from the authentic Dharma spoken by the valid person.
