Moreover, it is said in the Uttaratantra, "Great compassion knows the world, and observes all beings." How does it know and observe? It is not like grasping at reality, but knows and observes like an illusion. As it is said in the Sutra of Gathering the True Dharma, "For example, a magician strives to undo the illusion, because he has clairvoyance, he is not attached to the illusion. Similarly, the wise one of perfect enlightenment knows the three realms as illusion." It is also said in the Sutra of the Meeting of Father and Son, "The illusion created by the magician, he knows it is an illusion, so he is not confused by it. You should see all beings in the same way, and pay homage and praise to the one who sees all." Some say, "The perfectly enlightened Buddha has the wisdom of knowing the suchness, which is the knowledge of ultimate truth, but does not have the wisdom of knowing the extent, which is the knowledge of conventional truth." It is not that he does not know what can be known, but because there is no conventional truth, there is no wisdom to know it. Conventional truth is caused by ignorance with afflictions, and appears to ordinary beings; caused by ignorance without afflictions, and appears to the three noble ones. For example, a person with eye disease sees hair and dizziness. The Buddha, having abandoned ignorance in the Vajra-like Samadhi, sees the only truth in the form of not seeing any dharma, therefore, the Buddha does not have this conventional delusion. For example, a person whose eye disease is cured does not see hair and dizziness. Therefore, this appearance of conventional truth is due to the power of ignorance, and is only established in relation to the world, but does not exist in relation to the Buddha, so there is no wisdom to know it. If the Buddha has a mind with appearances, then due to the appearance of the illusory object, the Buddha himself would become illusory, and it would also contradict the scriptures such as the great sages always abiding in equanimity." That's what they say. To this, the former view says that just being in the subsequent attainment does not lead to distraction, etc., so it does not contradict the scriptures such as always abiding in equanimity.

That's all. In the Extensive Play Sutra, it says: The perfectly complete Buddha abides equally at all times. Thus it is said. It is also unreasonable to say that merely the appearance of delusion is delusion, because although all the deluded realms of other knowers appear, the mind that grasps them knows that they are completely deluded, and the causes of higher realms and definite goodness for beings are firmly established, so how could they become deluded? Therefore, it is said: When you know that it is only delusion, you should definitely hold it as non-delusion. Thus it is said. Some say: In the conventional realm without clinging to truth, there is no harm from valid cognition, and that which is without harm will not become delusion even if it is made the realm of the Buddha. Some also say this. Therefore, the former view is that the so-called "knowing all that exists" means that the Buddha has subsequent wisdom, as it is said: How does the former know? The non-deluded samadhi has no involvement of consciousness. How does the latter know all that exists? The deluded appearance of the subsequent attainment has the involvement of consciousness. Thus it is said. The latter view is that the Buddha does not have subsequent wisdom, and in the Holy Sutra of Accomplishing Infinite Doors, it says: After the Tathagata has manifested perfect enlightenment, he has not comprehended or known any dharma. What is the reason for this? Because there is no object to be known. Thus it is said. It is also said in other sutras: Some heretics say that they have the ability to go to liberation. You have gone to peace, and are as uncountable as a extinguished lamp. Thus it is said. Thus, the different views have been explained. The Geshepas say: The reality of the perfectly complete Buddha is the Dharmakaya, and the so-called Dharmakaya is the exhaustion of all errors, or merely the inversion of nature, and it is only called that. In reality, the Dharmakaya is unborn, unceasing, and free from elaboration. It is also said in the Ornament of the Sutras: Liberation is merely the exhaustion of error. Thus it is said. Therefore, the Buddha is the Dharmakaya, and the Dharmakaya is unborn, unceasing, and free from elaboration, so there is no wisdom. If so, is it not contradictory to the two wisdoms spoken of in the sutras? It is not contradictory, just as when eye consciousness arises and appears blue, it is said to see blue, wisdom itself is dharma
