Furthermore, it is said that the result of its maturation is that one will become the king of the powerful gods. For those who realize the noble truth, they will become great and supreme teachers. Thus it is said. The distinction of blessings is that in an instant, a short moment, one obtains billions, trillions, and quadrillions of samadhis, and so on. The distinction of the name of the eighth ground is the Immovable. The distinction of the definition is that it is called the Immovable because it is not moved by the thought of striving for signs and the thought of striving for signlessness. Thus it is said, "Because of the two thoughts, it is immovable, therefore it is manifestly called the Immovable." Thus it is said. The distinction of complete purification is that this ground is attained through eight complete purifications, such as knowing the behavior of all sentient beings as it is. Thus it is said, "Knowing the minds of all sentient beings, and loving with clairvoyance," and so on. Thus it is said. The distinction of what to practice is that the Bodhisattva who abides on this ground generally practices all ten perfections, but it is said that the perfection of aspiration is particularly emphasized. The distinction of purity is that, as previously stated, the three causes purify the roots of virtue, as it is said, "For example, if pure gold is made into an ornament by a skilled craftsman and placed on the head or neck of the lord of Jambudvipa, none of the excellent ornaments of all sentient beings in Jambudvipa can surpass it." Similarly, because the roots of virtue of the Bodhisattva abiding on the eighth ground are extremely pure, they cannot be taken away by all Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and even Bodhisattvas abiding on the seventh ground. Thus it is said. The distinction of realization is that one who abides on this ground, having understood all phenomena to be free from the concept of discrimination, like the sky, is not afraid or frightened of the meaning of emptiness and non-arising, and is called having obtained forbearance of non-arising phenomena. Having obtained forbearance of non-arising phenomena, one realizes the meaning of neither decreasing nor increasing, and whether it is defilement or purification, one does not see decrease or increase. Thus it is said, "The meaning of neither decreasing nor increasing," and
